My work friends wanted to plan a day to come here and was impatient because the moment I saw the strawberries and biscuits on the menu I had to go IMMEDIATELY small hometown feel vibe which I loved! The food was amazing and yummy! The potatoes were cooked perfectly, the serving size was perfect! Service was great as well! We will for sure be coming back here

Amazing service, food, and portion size. We got French toast, cinnamon French toast, Kate's breakfast with sausage and biscuits strawberries and biscuit and Rueben. All were delicious. The biscuits were better than had in a long time. Would recommend but there is a wait and food takes a minute but all fresh and worth the wait! Food was nice and hot also which I appreciate because I love hot food

So my bucket list of restaurants down river, I had to say this was outstanding. The food here is incredible. The staff is really super nice. I love the ambience of feeling like you're old store and you're at home with home cooking.I enjoyed the southern omelette with smothered and sausage gravy that's a 10 out of 10.I also enjoyed the French toast that's a 10 out of 10 I also enjoyed the biscuits with Gravy thats 10 of 10Told my whole entire experience coming to Kate's Kitchen is fantastic. I recommend to anybody who is in flat rock and looking for a great place to have breakfast but the key is it's cash only no credit card make sure you bring cash . Conn only open for breakfast and lunch .so the only open four days a week From morning to 2 pm so the days are Thursday Friday, Saturday and Sunday closed Monday Tuesday Wednesday. If I'm wrong, please correct me.I feel that the rich history of kate's kitchen goes long distance with the community of flat rock. So if you're really want something like homemade and home cooked meal go here.

Kate's Kitchen is a gem of a diner with great food and friendly service. Our server was really busting it and working hard. Looks like they are understaffed but the wait isn't too terrible. The only drawback is no option for debit/credit payment. Cash only. We aren't local, so I'm not sure if this is temporary. Definitely recommend a stop at Kate's over a mediocre chain breakfast restaurant.

Small, cozy place, with fewer than 20 tables. Quite delicious food and friendly accommodating service - we were very lucky that our group of 11 got seated all together. Brunch menu, with both breakfast- and lunch options. The grilled cinnamon toast was amazing!
