Still some of the best Korean food in Ann Arbor you can get! I've now tried the kimchi fried rice with spam, galbitang, soondubu, ddukbokki with ramen, and their japchae and can confirm they are all hits which makes it so hard to decide what I want to order whenever I come here now. Definitely more of a takeout service since the dining room is really limited and no restrooms for patrons but I don't mind, the food is that good!

Came to Kang's right when it opened. I would suggest coming early for lunch if you want to eat it fills up fast. The Kalbi was solid for $15 nice portions of meat and the dressing for the salad is flavorful. The dish also comes with Kim chi and bean sprouts Kim chi is a little diluted for my taste, I like the chili and garlic to be much stronger. My wife's spicy stir fried beef was amazing as well. Definitely a great spot for take out with very reasonable prices. If you do eat in your order right when you walk in at the counter than someone from the kitchen brings you the food, you leave your food at the table when you are done.

Cute, little restaurant with a small amount of indoor seating. Easy to order, cafe style right when you walk in. Pictures of menu items near the order counter for anyone unfamiliar with Korean cuisine. Had the beef bibimbop and pork potstickers. Both were absolutely excellent and delivered to the table within 20 minutes of ordering. Friendly staff and canned sodas/bottled water available for purchase. No alcohol that I saw. No restroom for patrons though so you have to walk blocks down to a nearby local business if you need to use the facilities or wash your hands. Not ideal.

Please this is the one place you must go to before you die. The business picks up super quick and regardless the service is immaculate. The food is beyond delicious, I could literally marry each dish. The ambience was super cozy and legit feels like I'm at family dinner. I love this place so much you HAVE to try everything. We got the Spicy Pork, Curry rice with beef, and Kalbi tang. The food was so good we ate in silence. Wow wow wow

The budae jiggae was exactly what I needed on a cold day. I liked that it wasn't too spicy, and that there were a variety of meats, noodles, and veggies. 13/10 would recommend.

In my opinion - the best restaurant in Ann Arbor! It is small, homey, and intimate (only about 6 tables in the whole store) and the food is so incredible. I always get the beef bibimbap and potstickers. Very well priced and a great place for students.

My favorite Korean food in Ann Arbor. The food tastes so good and it warms my soul. The soup dishes are good, the stir-fry dishes are good. There isn't anything here I didn't enjoy. The only downside is that the seating is very limited, so it's hard to come with a big group or during busy hours. The take out is pretty solid too

Extremely rude manager in this restaurant. We ordered three dishes and one was lost ( not counting for the bill, and we found the issue before leaving, so it's solved) and one was ordered wrong. We called to the restaurant and the manager began with the sentence "we will not return your money at all." Whatever the reason he indifferently provided, the whole attitude irritated us. He kept conveying that he thought we were wrong to not understanding Korean, we deserved what we got, and he didn't intend to solve any issue because the issue was made by us. We totally didn't want to argue with the manager, but his constant blaming made us stress out and we had to defend. The food itself is normal (sweet and spicy, so someone may prefer this) and Rich JC has way better taste for their food.

Great bibimbap and the soup tastes as if your mom cooked the meal for you. Service was quick, and I liked that you pay up front and are free to stay as long as you like. It feels like a family restaurant
