This place is a solid 3 stars. Nothing fancy. More a dive or hole in the wall. Got to know what you want here. But it's typical Detroit food fare... only I had issue with is the hot dog didn't have the snap. Says it's opened 24/7. Just pulled up to the restaurant and it's closed. We chose a detour from a far travel to get here. The only reason was because it was supposed to be "opened". Please keep up with your hours on this app if you're going to use it. Disappointed.

Wow this place crazy busy early Saturday afternoon many families getting da grub on. Not a seat remain after we entered. Place opening a little over 2 years ago by former owner of Dearborn Coney Island on Telegraph. Lucky us got Mira the wife since 4 other waitress busy, she actually forgot about us we forgave her. Sign say Famous Omelet got a couple all meat Omelet and Greek both delicious, a bowl of Chili Special and Appetizers platter a super deal. She had a side of fabulous Ham and got a combo 2 Coney Island Hotdog, Greek Salad n Drink on the super cheap. Quality fair price great service and open 24 Hours how cool. Another Restaurant in Wayne, Woo-Hoo!!!!Jouli's Coney Island is a family restaurant that offers Famous Omelettes. I didn't try one, but that's what the front of the menu says. To tell you the truth, I didn't see any omelette's being served when I was there, but believe I may try one the next time I go. But on to my order... I was kinda hungry, so gave the Paul Bunyan Breakfast a try. It came with 3 eggs, hash browns, 2 slices of bacon and ham, 2 sausage links and toast. The breakfast was good amd hot, although the meat was a tad over cooked... The coffee was hot and fresh and the waitress made sure it was always full. Overall not a bad bfast at all...The restaurant is medium sized and has 1 TV. The atmosphere is alright, it was kind of quiet though. Maybe a little back ground music would help, but being they just opened, will come into their own soon. Overall, a very nice edition to the City of Wayne. I hope they succeed!!

We experienced a little confusion from the waitress about the 99 cent Coney Special, but we tried a couple anyways and they were pretty good. The fries were a hot and made for a good combo. They claim to have a "Famous Omelet", and that is probably the next item we will try. The restaraunt has been totally redone and is very clean and neat. They have a handwritten board with the Daily Specials and they look like a possibility down the road. I'm going to start with 3 stars and... I'll be back!

Ah reunited at long last! My heart broke several months ago when Jouli and his wife, Mira, told us that they would no longer be running Dearborn Coney Island on Telegraph. That was THE spot for breakfast, and Allison and I would dine there at least once most weekends. Needless to say, Dearborn Coney wasn't the same without them.Jouli's is a little far for us, but we had plans later in the morning that took us sort-of in the direction, so we decided to go slightly out of our way and pay a visit to our friends. As soon as we walked in, Mira noticed us, gave us big hugs.Our go-to breakfast option is to split the Breakfast Special, which has eggs, hashbrowns (get them well done!), three meats, and toast. It's a big dish, and we've got smaller appetites first thing in the morning, so it's a good way to avoid wasting a lot of food.The potatoes were even better than I remembered - very flavorful and crispy to perfection without getting dried out or burnt. The meats are all top quality and savory (THAT DEARBORN BRAND HAM!). Couldn't ask for a better classic breakfast, or for a better price. I'm always dumbfounded when the bill comes and it's just a few bucks. I don't know how they do it.We noticed that they do a LOT of carry out at Jouli's. There were probably more to-go orders than dine-in ones while we were there. Neither our food nor service suffered, though. I commend them for keeping up!

The over easy eggs hash browns and white toast is okay. My daughter ordered pancakes with bacon and the bacon was the driest bacon I've ever seen or tasted in my life and the pancakes were the most driest nastiest pancakes I've ever thought could be made. Wait staff was nice the place was really clean the bathroom for very clean and the way it was set up with really nice as the reason for three stars. If you go there just don't get the pancakes because you will be in for a huge disappointment

Food is always great. Use it for takeout-service is always fast and friendly. Have been going there for years.

Went in today for lunch got there at 12:15 ordered drinks and food the cups were dirty with lipstick on them. The waitress never came back with new drinks or any food it is now 130 no food so we walked out while the waitress and cook started argueing about food tickets infront of everyone I do not recommend this place one of the worst coney Islands I have ever been too.

Good food, but some days it's really a hit or miss and it's extremely disappointing. I asked for scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese & I received this.
