Jolly Pumpkin Pizzeria and Brewery

Located adjacent to Third Man Records,we stopped in for lunch with a group of 7. They have picnic style bench seating so it was not a problem finding a place to sit.You order your food at the bar and they bring it to you. They have a nice selection of house beers plus pizza and sandwiches. Gluten free items are available as well as a kids menu.Food was good and service was outstanding. If in the area,a good place to grab a bite or a quick pint. They also have locations in 4 other Michigan towns.

A great place for a great meal and some great drinks! This place can get busy, especially on nights when there's and event happening downtown that night. Their food is great and their beer flights are a fun way to try some new brews.

Right next door to Third Man Records this was a convenient place to stop for lunch. It houses a full service bar as well as a coffee shop/cafe and breakfast and lunch items are served as well as pizza so something for everyone. There are also good vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options here. The vibe was relaxed and fun with large communal tables. The cafe does a lot of take out orders. We enjoyed it.

Stopped in after a play at tge Detroit refractory theater (which was great). My boyfriend had the lamb burger and I had the mushroom truffle pizza. Both were delicious. I tasted a few beers and landed on the special. I cant remember the name but it was refreshing, notes of lime and blueberry.

What a fun lively place to be! Theres close seating for large groups. Plenty of beers on tap. Good ones at that. And the food is delicious. It was a bit of a hassle to wait in line to order food and drinks since there was a central point for ordering. But everyone was very nice and food/ drinks came quickly to our tables. My group had the mediterranean pizza, nachos, and curry chips (addictive). I also got the beer flight to sample their selection and refilled a full glass of a particular stout i found to be delightful within my flight! Would love to come here again after work to relax if i'm back in the area.

The food is very good and this is a great place to come have a casual bite to eat with friends. It was pretty empty when we went, and the service was fast and the staff was very friendly. I'm sure I will be back for some more pizza or delicious truffle fries.

We stopped here for dinner on Noel Night 2024. Had to wait in line to place our order but the atmosphere was fun so we did not mind the wait. I ordered the spiked mocha first, then I had red chicken nachos. The full order was more than I could eat, so I took about half of the order home. It was tasty, fair amount of chicken and all the other listed ingredients. Most people were ordering pizza which can be ordered gluten free. It was a fun place to stop for dinner.

We were down in Detroit for Noel night and walked by noticed there were room at some of the tables and ended up going in and eating there. There was six of us and we all had different things ranging from chicken nachos to spinach, warm artichoke sandwich, pork pie pizza & artichoke pizza. Lots of Veg options. Everyone loved everything we ordered. Considering it was Noel Night, the place was actually not as packed as in past years. Staff were helpful and friendly place was clean. I'll be back.BTW Homemade Curried potato chips are amazing!!

My absolute favorite restaurant in Detroit!!! everything was so good. everything we ordered off the menu was brought to us in a short time, the food was delicious. everything was so flavorful and yummy that i regret not taking any home with me . the inside was decorated and it had a really nice atmosphere. the workers were so polite and helpful. going here is definitely a must!!
