Always fantastic at Joes! Even at their prior location I was sold the first time. The smash burgers are from my childhood and they're great. The poutine is excellent!

Wife and I were headed to Wyandotte for an art class and wanted eat before hand. After doing my Yelp research, I offered her a few options to choose from and she selected Joe's Hamburgers....I'm thrilled that she did. I loved everything about this placeThey specialize in burgers and they are delicious. There are probably 12ish different burger options. What I really liked is they offered them as either a full size burger or a slider. I really liked the slider option because I wanted to try several. They were all fantastic. The Sticky was my favorite. I love Peanut Butter on a burger and this was a winner. The sides were great as well. Fries were nice and crispy and the onion rings were battered not breaded which I like. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area

My burger was great. The bun was fresh, and it was extremely flavorful.Service was a letter grade of "C", however. Our server was nice and pleasant, but there's a sign on the sidewalk outside the restaurant that illustrates how small their grill is. The sign is basically asking for all patrons to "be patient", since they have a tiny grill (compared to the size of the restaurant). The problem is, that's the same as asking everyone who enters to immediately lower their expectations. That's ridiculous, and whoever green-lit that sign idea should probably be fired. Re-invest the money you're wasting on signs that warn customers about a crappy experience ahead, and buy a larger grill. They're not that expensive. It took forever (nearly an hour) for our food to arrive, presumably because of the itsy-bitsy grill. Ambiance was okay, I suppose. Joe's is cultivating the "dive bar" atmosphere thing. It's dark inside, and there is a lot of memorabilia on the walls. I'll come back for the quality of the burgers, but maybe I'll bring my own hotplate and griddle, just to speed things up a bit and maybe help these people out, back in the kitchen.

We decided to stop by Joe's Hamburgers for a weekday lunch, lured in by the promise of award winning poutine. There was a bunch of stuff on the menu that we wanted to try and we ended up over-ordering...Poutine, Large ($5.79) - I loved the fries at Joe's. They seem like they are made in house, pretty thin cut shoestring-style, with a decent crisp on the exterior, and an interior that isn't necessarily fluffy, but not dry either. There were normal white cheddar cheese curds on top, probably commercially packaged because they weren't fresh and hence no squeak. The gravy (not sure why they call it poutine sauce) had a bit of meatiness with some vegetal aromatic notes that come out. This was slathered all over on top and bottom of the fries. Most of the curds were still in one piece; there were only a couple that were melted. Everything was salted appropriately. To be honest, I'm not sure what organization/publication gave this poutine an award because it certainly isn't the best poutine around. Still, it was good enough that I would still get it again. Freddy Brueger, Mini ($3.89) - The first thing that stood out to me as the sliders arrived was the size - these things are massive for sliders. I was expecting white tile burger joint-sized sliders but these were probably one and a half to two times the size. This had a pretty large slider patty inside, enough to pretty much go across the entire bun, topped with a slice of cheddar, bacon, fried onion straws, and bourbon glaze. The patty is a pretty typical slider patty - thin, kind of dry, but with a good meat flavor. The cheese on top was an intact sheet (not melted). The bacon was rendered well, and the onion straws were covered in a bourbon glaze that added a bit of sweetness and only a very slight bourbon flavor. This was all on a relatively tall and fluffy bun. Overall, I thought this burger was a bit on the dry side - the only thing adding moisture was the bourbon glaze and there wasn't enough added.Breakfast Burger Mini ($3.89) - Super decadent slider with a sunny side up egg placed right on top, with a yolk that oozed all over with each bite. There was the slider patty with a bunch of caramelized onions on top, adding a sweetness, and again some bacon for additional flavor and texture, and an unmelted slice of cheese. Not sure why the cheese in all of the sliders aren't melted. As I bit into the burger, the yolk oozed out to make a creamy sauce.I think all the ingredients came together quite well on this slider. Two Sliders w/ Cheese Happy Hour Meal ($6) - This is an absolute deal. Two large sliders and a small side of fries for only $6. The slider itself was just a delicious classic American slider done right - patty, grilled onions, pickles, mustard, ketchup. I honestly liked these classic sliders more than the specialty ones above. A lot of other slider places in the area don't add enough condiment to moisten the meat and bun. This slider, on the other hand, had the perfect ratio. The flavor of the patty played well with the mustard and ketchup so that everything was balanced. And this also came with a full small side order of fries. It's a great deal, one that I would definitely come back for in the future. We ended up finishing everything and felt pretty sick afterwards. We don't normally eat this much for a meal, but I guess that's a testament to how good the food is at Joe's!

I had them yesterday.. This is very chill low key spot in Wyandotte. I love the vibe in here the lights were kind of dim but I enjoyed it. The sliders were pretty good, I can't really complain about it. The fries I had were kind of hard but still pretty good. The price here is about average. Not too expensive yet not too cheap. I would've gave them more stars but I didn't like that every is separate and that they charge extra for everything. The service was pretty good she was young but still very nice and knowledgeable. I would recommend this restaurant if ever in the area. I will check them out again for sure.

Okay spot. The burgers are priced well, the service was good however the burgers were underwhelming. As well I did not like the fries at all. It's not a bad spot, but not the place to go if you want a fantastic burger
