When you look this place up, it states it's halal, but it's not halal. I verified this with the manager. Btw don't tell him you're Muslim, you won't get the best reaction. The food is good tho, I get everything on the vegetarian side and their cream cheese is halal!

awesome breakfast sandwiches...highly recommend the italian scallion...so so good. fresh, delicious bagels. The fresh squeezed OJ is expensive (8 bucks) but really delicious as well. Look forward to coming back soon.

Came by to taste the local flavor after attending a wedding rehearsal nearby. Bagel sandwiches for lunch sounded like the perfect thing, and Jersey Bagel delivered! This spot is cozy but no-frills, sort of feels almost like a diner to me. You order at the counter. Seems like they do a lot of to-go orders, but there's enough room inside for several smaller parties to sit and eat. I was surprised at the size and variety of their menu! Lots of breakfast favorites especially. The deli products were displayed nicely in cold cases so you could get an eyeful before ordering.The way to get in line is kind of cramped and I felt bad because I kept having to tell people to go ahead of me because I couldn't figure out what I wanted!Eventually, I settled on a "Spicy Firestarter," which consisted of my choice of bagel with turkey (which I requested be left off), pepperjack cheese, scrambled eggs, jalapeños, and hot sauce. Husband got a ham, egg, and cheese on an onion bagel. You can also build your own breakfast sandwich or omelet with all the fixings you'd like. I also tacked on a bag of kettle chips. I can't remember what we paid, but I don't remember thinking it was too pricy. We took our sandwiches to go and ate back at the nearby hotel room. Overall, we were pleased -- very pleasantly chewy bagels, nicely cooked eggs, very filling portions. I could've used a little more spiciness as well as some more slight variation in texture for mine -- it was all sort of "chewy" and the jalapeños didn't bring the crunch I was hoping for -- but that's really just a nitpick. I will say I thought the service was a little brusque. There was a to-go order that sounded a lot like mine and when I walked up to ask if it was mine, I was told somewhat harshly that it wasn't. Which...my bad for sure, but also a nice tone goes a long way when correcting honest mistakes. Still, all minor things. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area and craving some toasty, carb-loaded goodness.

This place is unassuming and delicious -- like many staple Michigan restaurants. They don't seem to put a lot of stock in their social media or Yelp but the service is great and the deals are unmatched. The kind of place you just "know" about. Everything is made to order and from scratch. Some of the staff are family and I appreciate seeing how they operate. There's plenty of indoor seating with tables and booths for breakfast. Where else can you buy an authentic handmade bagel for ~$2?

Friendly staff welcomes you to some good bagels. I live on the "west side" of metro Detroit... and we lack a decent bagel.... This may be the closest spot to my home. Made it a tradition to slide through here after youth basketball down the road. Started doing muffins- must try. Love their egg bagel here.

Good bagels and cream cheese. The cream cheese is pricey. The honey walnut is my favorite.

Went in for a breakfast sandwich and some bagels. Very nice staff who helped me make a delicious egg, bacon, and cheese bagel. That have a variety of bagels to choose from as well as deli meats and many different flavors of cream cheese. The bagel sandwich was delicious.

OH MY GOSH!!! I ordered the Bacon egg and cheese bagel on an everything with cream cheese and Gosh Darn it was absolutely wonderful me and my date enjoyed every bite!!

Biggest bagel in town. Great selection. Nice taste. Pricey. Not sure whether the ownership changed but the last few times I'd visited, an unwelcoming staff swayed my opinion from "ya gotta check it out" to "there's other bagel shops I prefer". People make a difference.

Orderd on website 4 days in advance for a party we were having. They confirmed order and charged me. When I went to pick up they claimed the order just popped up from door dash (I ordered on their website not door dash and the email confirmation was from them not door dash) and they had none of the bagels we ordered except plain. They then had the audacity to try to blame on door dash instead of their incompetence and had the audacity to still charge me (at higher specialty bagel price that I didn't get) for a bag of crap I didn't want and will likely throw away because my guests wont eat them. I like their bagels but will never order again and suggest everyone stay away. Incredibly poor customer service. Why allow ordering in advance of you dont have capability to honor it? Horrible.
