Good steaks.. Grilled over charcoal of course
a piece of steak on a plate
a skewer of meat and vegetables
three cheeseburgers on a plate

Jerry's is one of the last of the mom & pop neighborhood grocery stores. They have much better meats than the big box stores and the customer service is more personal. I just like it there.

We want to support local businesses, so we overpaid a bit to purchase a ribeye steak along with some produce and other groceries. The same day, I unwrapped the steak to put it on the grill and the side that was not visible in the case was brown and unappealing. I grilled it anyway and no adverse reaction, but I was disappointed with the quality of the meat and what I consider a ruse. Always ask them to show you BOTH sides of the meat you buy, otherwise caveat emptor.

I was a regular customer of Jerry's Market until the Dearborn group took over. I totally agree, the older cashier up front is rude. I won't go in there. I sent an email to the Dearborn group, I never received a response so I have never gone in there again.

Great little neighborhood market! You can pretty much find whatever you are looking for here. They also have a lot of specialties like sauces, spices and stuff like that. Nice selection in the deli. But like a few others have mentioned, they are very slow. It's not uncommon to wait 20-30 minutes in line of at least 10 people.

You wont miss it till its gone - Jerrys is a classic small grocery with just enough of everything you actually need, with a great meat counter My first job was a small town grocery and Jerrys brings all the great things in spades great service, excellent meats, actually very competitve pricing (i shopped mejìeirs earlier )They dont stock thousands of items with dozens of options But they stock enough and at good pricing with real help that is nice and helpful

The older white woman cashier's customer service is seriously lacking and seems to be selective of who she wants to be friendly to. I've been here a bunch of times and always liked the store. I came in tonight for a few things and thought how I need to come here more often since it's a smaller business and I really liked the remodeling done inside as well. I did notice the unfriendliness of the older woman when I walked in and she just stared at me like I'm going to steal something, but I ignored it. What I cannot ignore is how when I get to checkout at her register, I say hello and she just ignores me, doesn't say a word to me the entire time, but takes the time to take the hand basket I was using and put it on top of my bagged groceries basically in my face right next to the card machines (I was unsure where to put it originally and left it on the belt since there was someone else helping bag but then she left to check other people out). Other people come in behind me and she's completely friendly with them. "Hey how are you today? I'm fine thank you!" Really nice. I get ignored though and you put a basket in my face basically telling me to put it away, which I did and to be honest I shouldn't have just off of her rudeness alone. Not to mention I don't even work there. I left and still not a word at all. I don't know if it was my dreads, or the fact that I'm heavily tattooed or even the fact that I'm Hispanic, but I don't enjoy be treated like I'm lesser than, especially in an establishment that I'm spending my money in. She was rude to me another time I have went there. My husband says this woman is always rude to him as well but he's accepted it awhile ago. I'm good, I will take my money elsewhere. You guys need to get rid of that lady or maybe give her some customer service classes or maybe even morality classes on how to teach her to treat people equally. If this is how she treats people AT WORK, I can only imagine how she is day to day when she isn't there. Really sad that people are still like that and that people have just "accepted it". No thank you. We're going into 2023 and people like her need to be held accountable. I'm sick of people like this and the fact that other people have complained about this woman and she STILL has a job is beyond me. I will never be back.

After today going for meatballs asking for a aluminum package for heating purposes, the supervisor Irene in the meat/lunchmeat department said to me they only had one left, which I find this unacceptable she has an attitude. Other people that work their in deli are not that bad but slow. Told Pete the in the past the "owner" to me he doesn't really care. Get there when her days are off. People seem much more happy when she is not there. The only reason I go there is for the lunchmeat. Do not buy any fresh meat there. Irene is rude

I have been going to Jerry's for my meat for years. As far as I am concerned the best place to get meat of any kind. It's fresh and when you cook it up, it tastes like real food. Love this place.

I really like Jerry's Market... That's why it pains me to have to give a not so good review. It's shows that you are really only as good as your weakest link.I have spoken to Jerry in person in Market several times when shopping there and have had to call on the phone asking if something or two was in stock and he has always had top notch customer service skills. Kind, polite and willing to get it if he doesn't have it attitude.Shop is set up nice, is well apportioned and stocked. Prices are good and not as high as some other local non chain markets. Check out ladies are always nice.... Stock guys are polite and will strike up conversations... All good...Now... the rub...The Meat & Deli Counter...I have all but stopped buying anything behind there after the last experience my wife had. In her telling me about it we came to the conclusion this is a far too common occurrence for both of us who never shop there together so I am sure this is not just a one off thing...There are a couple of gals that act like you are really, REALLY bothering them by daring to spend your hard earned money on anything behind the hallowed glass... Questions are met with raised eyebrows. Asking for more than one or two things will be met with visible frustration and anxiousness. I feel rushed and in some cases I have left feeling passive aggressively insulted. I'm not there to serve you. I'm just trying to feed my family affordably and am willing to spend it all here if you would let me.I don't know their names nor am I going to describe how they look. I'm pretty sure they know who they are...I still shop there but I get my meat and deli stuff somewhere else now. I've seen reviews where the reviewer names the new place they are shopping which always seems like a plug to me. So I am not going to give that business a free plug. That's not my intention. I'd just like to see some attention paid to customer service behind the counter is all.

After 20 years of going to this market, it is time for a change. The last straw was when I asked to have the chicken breast filleted (Something that was always done in the past). The response was, "they are thin enough, we don't do that". I wouldn't call 3 inches thin enough. When other stores are willing to accommodate, there is no reason to pay higher prices.
