Jeramm is an Oriental / Filipino Grocery Store. You can say that we are semi-regular here, since we go approx once every 2-3 months. We were surprised today the almost 'transformation the new owners have done with the place. In Japanese world, the '5S' is amazing - everything in its place, a place for everything. Items are properly labeled, inventory organized, and selections definitely increased.Freezer / refrigerator are kept clean and incredibly labeled too.We came with plan to purchase 2 specific items, but end up getting more and more and appropriately ending in the high teens!Service: fast, accommodating and friendly couple. RJ and Faye had a very friendly conversations with us, throwing jokes while scanning the items we had put in the cart.Ambiance: quite, and not crowded.Selection: Filipino typical items you need, most likely will be available. Good selection considering the amount of space they have.Cost: typical average price cost ... comparable to other oriental stores.Summary:Will continue to come back for our groceries but maybe this time to get the items we want / need, and maybe come more often, at least 1/month.

Small grocer with the standard array of Filipino products and frozen foods.I live locally and go there once in awhile if in a hurry.for a few ingredientsThe Asian Markets in Madison Heights are far superiorStaff is friendly and helpful, yet very lazyIt would be even better place if they would clean the store once in awhile. On my last visit I noticed dusty cans on the shelves, piles of discarded papers, trash and business cards under the front desk. The front window display area although not used, has dead dried plants and plenty layers of dirt. The floors look like they have not seen a mop in years. Its A-ok but they can do better.

What can I say I love this place. I discovered this little market about 5 years ago also. They have the best filipino pastries , like ube cake, sapin sapin, jonah ensaymada, mamon, and hopia among others. I also have only been able to find kecap manis (indonesian sweet soy sauce flavored with garlic and star anise) in this area from there, the main brand I see is ABC but the Cap Bango is a great brand too...not sure if they have it though. Long review short, I love this place. The woman that owns it is very helpful if you are new to Filipino food cuisine and if you have question about products in the store she is very friendly and is glad to educate you.

Small grocery but supplies turn over quickly. Prices are reasonable but more expensive compared to similar stores in Chicago but the male owner is very accommodating, friendly, polite and very helpful which makes me want to support their business.

the store is vintage to say the least, but the ppl that work there are so helpful and friendly. if you want something they can order it for you. being of Asian decent I look for certain things that I had growing up. this store is mostly Filipino, which is great, but I look for Japanese things which are harder to find. overall, I like this store.

having just moved back to michigan from los angeles with my fillipina wife and finding this store was about a mile from our new place was a really nice bonus. my wife stocked up on her favorite rice and filipino foods before we left LA. this store has really all she could ask for here in GC. i was so worried about her not being able to find the food she loves.

Wow! A hidden gem. Lots of Filipino goodies, including kalamansi juice and baked goods like pan de sal! I was hoping to find siopao (can find them at other Asian stores but much farther), but maybe next time. I will definitely be back!
