JB Bamboozles Pub & Grille

They mentioned this place on a really old episode of Family Feud. The owner's name was Jack and his family won at least a few games. Wonder if they still run the place? Richard Dawkins sort of creeps me out. Hope to visit this place one day!

I stoped in for some carry out dinner at this local bar with food. The name got me, and the yelp reviews looked good, so why not check it out.I had to get the "Still unnamed burger", it's fantastic. Maybe they should call it the cheeseburger cheeseburger, it's so nice you gotta say it twice!House made potato chips are great too, a little thick so you get crunch and some steak fry texture too. They know that Cajun seasoning on the chips makes the pop.Added a stout to drink, fantastic.I saw a jar with clear liquid, veggies, and pepper, they use it to make bloody Mary's, dude I bet they are awesome, but I could get one to go and I didn't want to drink and drive, especially with crazy Detroit/Dearborn drivers.

Kind of a hole in the wall bar. Didn't expect much, but their food is actually pretty good. I'd say it's definitely elevated above a typical bar food you would expect. We got chili cheese fries, fried pickles and some type of pizza roll. The fried pickles seemed to be battered in house, the chili on the fries seemed homemade, not canned and the pizza bread was great. Definitely will try some new things here next time I'm there.

I had been wanting to try this place for a while and was glad when a friend suggested meeting there. I got there early, about 45 minutes after opening on a Saturday so it wasn't busy. But my server Marianne was very helpful suggesting menu items that are popular as I told her it was my 1st time there. She also makes a great Kentucky Mule! I tried the Diamond Jubilee which is smoked sausage with heartier mustard on the side and garlic toast points. The sausage was grilled well, with some having more crispier edges than others. Ambience is friendly neighborhood pub with wainscoting on walls and booths, pool table, Keno monitor and several TV's. Juke box played some good tunes while I was there. My friend got caught up and couldn't come, but asked me to bring them the Philly Steak calzone, which was delicious when we shared it. Pizza dough was fresh and had the perfect "chew" to it. Steak had good flavor and plenty of it plus melty cheese. When Marianne came to check on me and I gave her the carry out order she was so kind telling me, "Well next time if your friend can't make it, you should come sit at the bar. There's always good chatter going on." The business is good for groups as tables can be pushed together as needed, kid friendly with their own menu items. I will definitely be back.

Affordable drinks and really great food! I came here by accident but was not disappointed and have been back twice now. Definitely recommend spinning the shot wheel and getting the breadsticks!!! The service is super friendly and laid back, very accommodating for allergies. We had fun picking music on the modern juke box thing and watching people play pool. CRINKLE FRIES and the cheese is spicy shrimp was fresh & good report on the sandwiches too from friends

Went in and no one greeted us, so we assumed it was "seat yourself". The place was not busy at all when we were there. There was a few people at the bar (which we had to pass on the way in) and a group of older men right across from the bar. We made our way to the other end of the bar and had a seat at a high table. As we are sitting down we noticed the air is not running and it is a bit hot and humid. We sat down and waited about five minutes and no one ever came to the table so we got up and left. The name of the restaurant is fitting, as I feel we were bamboozled into believing this would be a good restaurant to try out. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, it's dark and gloomy and hot. But on a good note, we were able to find an amazing place after we left this place.

Bamboozles is The "Cheers" of Dearborn! This is the bar that after just a few visits everyone knows your name. The food here is solid elevated bar food, their pizza is what they're known for and it's excellent! Taco Tuesdays are a great time to visit, they offer everything from fish tacos, beef enchiladas, Mexican pizza, to Mexican desserts. One if their signature drinks is The Bourbon Pie which is Heritage Brown Sugar Bourbon served with their signature pie it's fire.... I love the vibe of the place lots of televisions, incredible juke box that allows you to play music from your phone, and they have a few games you play while you hang out. I've been coming here since high school and it seems like it's one of the few places in the area that stays the same and that's a good thing!

First time to JB Bamboozles and had a great time. Burger was pretty good and the prices were incredible. Great atmosphere for a Saturday night! Not too crazy but still great energy. Will definitely be back!
