We decided to give this place another try and it was great, the service was on point this time, the food was really good. I got a side salad and there was no up charge and the salad was BIG and the cheese was great. I also loved the fries here, they were so good, I could have ate a bucket of them. The brisket was ok, my bf got the pulled pork and said it was 5 stars.

All I can say is amazing!!! There are very few meals that I dream about but Jayells burrito is a game changer. With each bite you are transported closer to joy...dump some Alabama Sauce on that and friend you have arrived at happiness. The drinks are fantastic the staff is awesome and the food is amazing seriously can not send enough love to this establishment!

The wings are delicious but your menu says served with ranch or blue cheese and you charged me an extra $.75 for ranch. Taco Tuesday is $9.00 so maybe a menu update . Everything else was good, brisket for the $2.00 up charge was on dry side which is not the norm. I did question the ranch charge and was told there was no charge but it was $11.25 and said .75 cents. Sounds nitpicky on my end but would have skipped the ranch altogether . Either way the food was great , still a good deal and we will always come back.

BBQ nachos to try for the first time Jayell Smokehouse here in Romeo. Great smoke on the pulled pork, crispy chips, a smooth and tasty chili queso, along with good compliment of onions, cheese, and salsa. Worth the visit.

Cozy atmosphere! Great service. Food was great! I've had many local bbq places (SLO's, bad Brad's, K-blocks) but Jayell was my favorite. Not badly priced either which w bbq food it's usually expensive. Will definitely be going back!

We just moved here from Houston TX. We thought we would never find good bbq again. We walked into Jayells and we were blown away! We order the burnt ends, the chili and. 2 meat meal, pulled chicken and pulled pork. We essentially tried all the meats and they were all 10/10. The custom sauces were amazing too! And there was a great beer/cider selection. We talked to the owner Dave and the bartender Brandon, they were both great to talk to. If you live in or are visiting Romeo and are in the mood for bbq, this is the place for you!

First off, its been a long time coming! Great update to the take out down the road. The restaurant has a relaxing feel that fits a Friday night or a Sunday afternoon.Once you are in, the next dilemma starts... what to eat? So many choices that are winners! Turkey, Brisket, Pork Chicken all great. Try any of the sandwiches and you wont go wrong. The secret gems on the menu are bbq pork eggrolls, cornbread bake, and the pit beansWhatever your tastes you will be sure to find something to fill want! If not, there's always the full bar to pick from with specialty beers, wine, and rare whiskey and bourbons.Enjoy!

Food and beer menus are fantastic; the bartender can answer ALL your questions about both. "Industrial" style interior and seating outside shielded from the sun by breathable nylon type awnings. Love that they moved from their hidden away spot to the Main Street of Romeo. We crave this place regularly!

Had dinner here on a spur of the moment night out. The food was beyond delicious. My husband and I split the brisket tacos and the fiesta chicken tacos. The smoky flavors and sauces were so good. Our friends and the entrees of chicken and brisket with the baked beans side and the corn bread side. Both chicken and brisket were tender and again, delicious. The baked beans were a huge hit. Pricing was very reasonable and our server was great. We will be coming back here soon!
