They are open tonight until 10pm. The dining area is open as well. The kitchen was so smokey, it's coming into the dining area even. Made us cough aOrdered the the chicken kabob kafta entree, comes with salad, Turshi and bread, a small spicy hummus, a lentil soup and a large house salad and added chicken kafta. The salad came with shawarma meat, not the kafta that I ordered, shawarma meat is not my favorite. The salad was mostly veggies, more romaine would have been better. The lentil soup was okay. The hummus isn't bad, not so smooth, but still tastes decent. The garlic sauce is also chunky, but good. The bread is more like a tortilla, it's so-so. The chicken kafta was moist and had some flavor to it. The pickled veggies were good. The service is okay.

We got the feast for two, only $30 and you get a bunch of sides (pickled vegetables, olives in a spicy sauce, cabbage seasoned with turmeric, fresh cucumbers and tomatoes, flat bread, and soup) and then you get a giant plate of rice and assorted meats. Delicious and more than enough for two people. The service was great, the staff was so friendly and warm and made us feel welcome.

Authentic fresh Delicious Iraqi cuisine at a great value.Staff are very friendly and accommodating I highly recommend their combo platters for...I often use this place when hosting a small gathering .

Ordered combo dinner for 15 people to go, chicken and lamb, and all the sides including salad. Very great service and prices. All 15 people were very pleased and happy with all the food. There was enough left overs for 5 more meals. Thanks for the great service and food!

Went in again and waited 15-20 minutes past time they said it'd be ready. It never fails with them.. always super late.. our kabob was burned. We didn't bother complaining we just decided not to go here anymore. We were regulars too. They used to give a side of onions, turnips, and cabbage with the order but now it's just a side of onions and cabbage. I'm assuming they're trying to save $ by doing that but I did not like that change at all.. more of a reason not to continue ordering from here.

I'm happy to have Jasmin near me (there can never be enough proximate Middle Eastern restaurants). So far, I have had the lentil soup and eggplant salad, both of which I enjoyed. I intend to try the falafel and veggie ghallaba soon. For vegetarians, they also have hummus, baba ghanouj, grape leaves and a variety of salads. Of course, I always wish for more veggie entrees (e.g. mjadra, lentil kibbie, etc.) but maybe these will come eventually (if they get enough requests / vegetarian patrons).What stands out about Jasmin, though, is the man behind the counter (owner? manager?). He is a very friendly and accommodating person. To me, this is as important as good food.I'll update my review as I try more things.

This is as authentic Iraqi food as you can get. My family and I get carry out from here once a week. The beef kabob are delicious as so are the salads. The fresh beef shawarma is really tasty and full of flavor. Everything we have ordered is actually full of flavor and you can tell it's fresh. Can't wait until our next visit! Well done!

Oh god it was so disgusting. Only got a few bites of my chicken kabob sandwich and had to spit it out! The pickles had a weird stink to them and the garlic sauce was oddly spicy. Later that night my stomach started a' rumbling... Not cause I was hungry but because I felt sick. I knew the culprit was the sandwich. Never again.

Really gotta' hand it to these guys! This is a truly fantastic no frills Iraqi Assyrian/Chaldean style middle-eastern joint serving up some fantastic erbil-style kebabs, chicken tikka, chicken cream chop (escalope) and succulent beef gauss (shawerma). The chicken shawerma was also a nice surprise in that you can tell it's seasoned with care and sliced off a roaster a la the beef shawerma! The yellow rice (riza shawootha) is nice & buttery and when you top it with the delicious stews ( white beans, eggplant, and curry potato ) it's just off the chain!!!This is the fourth time I've eaten here since the covid19 pandemic has lessened its stranglehold on us Michiganders as thankfully vaccinations have gone up and outbreaks have gone down. With the re-opening of the dine-in option inside restaurants and curfews extended, I've had three dine-in experiences and one carry-out experience here. By far this Iraqi Assyrian/Chaldean spin on middle-east cuisine is superb at Jasmine!!!! They do it right!If you're looking for a snazzy middle-eastern joint to eat at where you are in essence paying more for the ambience inside ( you know... fancy chandeliers, alcoholic beverages , palm trees outside ,wall art, etc.,) versus the quality and quantity of food then this ISN'T your place.If you want no frills and the TRUTH when it comes to taste and overall quality & portions for the price, then give this joint a shot-- especially for carry-out!! It was a combo platter for three which can easily feed five!!!! It's definitely my go-to joint in the Macomb area.

After much disappointment with inconsistency with Middle eastern food quality. Finally found a place where they treat me like a family. The food here is amazing. The quality have been very consistent every time. I don't dine in but always do carry out.
