Love the aesthetics of this place and variety of drinks. Very presentable which is refreshing when you want a "cute coffee place" to meet atEveryone is friendly. I went when this place was about a year in so I hope it remains this way

I came here for a meeting several months back and when I walked in I was floored by how gorgeous it is inside. There are textured installations on the walls that make for a beautiful sign with the lighting they have, and the whole space is so bright and airy. I remember when that space used to be a dive bar (that ultimately burned down many years ago, RIP Howell's!) so walking in to such a stylish place was slightly disorenting. hah. When I was here the place was fairly quiet (I think maybe only one or two tables were occupied) but it was also an afternoon during Ramadan so that wasn't the norm. The barista behind the counter confirmed that come sundown they were going to be PACKED. They're open late most nights (till midnight I believe) so if you're not one to go to a bar for the night you can come by here and have a lovely coffee, tea, etc, and socialize.When I first sat down I got the Jabal latte, a latte mixed with their blend of spices like coriander, cinnamon, and clove. Oh it was so good! After my meeting I stopped back at the counter for another beverage for the road. Having already consumed enough caffeine for the day I went ahead and got the mango dragonfruit refresher and it was delightful. If you're a frequent customer you probably already know this but they do have an app and online ordering which makes ordering ahead an easy task.

Hot take: I don't know if it was just my experience but I feel like this place is overrated. My latte was alright not bad but not anything to write home about. What really disappointed me was that the Milk Cake I had was dry... At least the staff was nice and the interior is pretty. In my opinion there's many other cafes and coffee shops I'd rather go to.

This coffee house is wonderful! But except to wait a long time for your drink/coffee! The ambiance is beautiful! Its constantly packed. But Ive noticed staff, just standing around instead of helping out other workers. Its along wait, but the flavor is great here!

Love Jabal Coffee! There are so many Yemeni coffee places popping up and I've tried them all but Jabal is definitely one of my favorites. Drove all the way from Bloomfield Hills to try it, and it was well worth the drive! Their Dubai chocolate bar was also delicious!

Went here after breakfast while we didn't stay long the time spent there was pleasant. It's super cute and the coffee and top tier (as are their other drinks!) I can't wait to go back when I visit Michigan.

Let me start by saying good matcha is hard to come by. This place has really exceeded my expectations. Plenty of seating with modern and antique touches. Clean and comfortable. The cashier was very informative and friendly. She was patient and great at answering questions about the menu. The menu is eclectic, featuring coffee and tea options with compliments to accommodate various dietary types. I appreciate how well mixed the matcha powder was. No clumps. I will definitely be back for that matcha!

Had 2 really great experiences there. The place is decked out from top to bottom with the most beautiful interior. Their pics are so much better than my phones (https://jabalcoffeehouse.com). They have a ton of seating options inside-- good for small to medium sized groups. They have a small private room (not sure if it's first come or reserved). There is also some outdoor seating in a nice little alley way adjacent to the entrance.Prices were similar to Starbucks. They also have a bunch of bakery items from the standard croissant to unique Arabic twists on cheesecake and milk cakes. My favorite drink is the Adani Tea (black tea w/milk, cardamon, and sugar) and my new favorite dessert is their milk cake (all flavors). Service was great as well. They serve your items on these fancy wooden trays and glass cups for in-house hot drinks or paper/plastic to-go.
