Ima Noodles

Truly some of the best noodles I have ever had with my amazing CM @AnnetteJanik!The vibe and ambiance of this place is welcoming--and great for doing for if you need a study/work spot!The miso udon with tofu, noodles, and a soft-boiled egg was outstanding. The broth was more than flavorful, it truly blew my mind away. We also split the Spicy Tuna & Rice Cups----unreal!10/10, would come back every week, especially in this weather!

Reservations kind of a must. Very good service and the food is just delicious! They already have a base broth that is killer but then they add a twist to every dish to kick it up a notch even more. Udon is chewy and silky, Raman is fresh and perfect. We ordered four completely different dishes and they all tasted uniquely their own. It was great that you could identify every ingredient you in the dish and it made for an enjoyable eating experience. Also quite perfect for the first snow of the season!

I love coming to Ima (and they have a great happy hour!) the noodles are nice and tender, and have a great bite to them, but the broths are so flavorful. They're not super oily, and just feel really cozy. The staff is extremely friendly and bring out your food really quick. It's a great environment to just be in with friends. Have a good conversation. And eat a nice bowl of noodles.

Beautiful presentation. Very tasty. I not too saucy and very very salty. Perhaps adding the smoked roasted pork butt ended up making it all the more salty. I had a few bites then requested a takeaway box and cooked up a lot of noodles to add - hoping to cut the salt. Overall, good experience and it was tasty. Ambiance lovely and our waitress very nice. My friends seemed quite happy with their chicken pho - their 2nd time ordering.

The food here is great! The spicy tori ramen is one of my favorites. We came here recently for the happy hour menu and tried their bao buns, edamame, and fries! Everything was so good, the tofu bao was my favorite. The service is always great and friendly. It's a very laid back and comfy atmosphere and a great spot to come on colder days!

The staff was friendly who sat us and helped the server bring food to the table, our server was so nice and helpful with menu items. The broth for both ramen were banging with flavor and the spread out of the meat and veggies on top of the ramen were placed on top with so nicely . It was happy hour time which is mon-fri and between 3pm-6pm so we ordered one and it was yummy please note that it is $5 each so you only get 1 each .

Ima always impresses me. I went with a group of 7 and was glad to have a reservation. There was an ice storm and the place was still pretty packed! Our server was kind in answering questions and prompt. The food is always stellar. I got the chicken don rice bowl and it was a generous portion, so crispy and fresh. Will be back!

Great atmosphere, friendly, fast service. Wonderful flavors. My ramen could have been more al dente. Noodles were overcooked.

I usually get food to-go more recently due to covid, but I am always satisfied by what I eat here! I think the most cost effective items are their ramen/rice bowls, which you can customize almost entirely. During the pandemic I would get qrts of their pho broth- would recommend! This is also a great place to go with friends seating wise, but appetizers imo are a little too expensive. I'd stick with everyone getting a bowl which starts at around 12$ and is more than enough food. A warm sake for the table would be well-priced, tooIma has three locations. My favorite would likely be the one in Midtown

Ima Noodles had warm, healthy, fresh food in a cold winter day in Detroit. I got the seafood ramen, which as listed as "spicy", but it was pretty gentle. All the fresh seafood made for a nice flavor to the dish. My husband liked his Forrest ramen. It was loaded with a variety of mushrooms, which was key to his meal.
