Ichiban Hibachi Steakhouse and Sushi Bar

Ichiban gave us a fantastic hibachi experience! The food was absolutely delicious, with perfectly cooked steak, buttery shrimp, and flavorful fried rice and teriyaki noodles. The hibachi chef was incredibly entertaining, keeping us laughing with fun tricks and fiery displays. Portions were generous, and we appreciated the relaxed atmosphere--they didn't rush us and let us enjoy our meal. On the dinner side, the restaurant has cozy booths with beaded curtains, adding a touch of privacy and romance. A perfect spot for an impromptu date night.

On Thanksgiving evening flew into the area and this was the only restaurant we could find open. We sat in the hibachi table and placed on the end. There were other tables with patrons eating. The cook was delightful and the food was delicious. But service was lacking. While eating we were not checked on to see if we needed anything else. When we were finished and needed togo containers; two waitresses were cleaning a table never stopped to see us. My husband got containers for the sauces and then got up again for boxes. Finally a waitress brought us a bag and the bill. We charged it and when they brought the copy to sign the bill already had a tip included and the signature copy had space for additional tip. Had we not looked at the bill which we do not always do we would have left an additional 20% tip. Totaling 40% Shocking

Monday night snack attack and decided to get sushi since we were in the canton area. Picked and this place had the highest rating according to google. When we walked in it was really quiet, so we decided to play safe (just incase). We got the Vegas roll and it was huge ( like I literally could not fit it into my mouth), too much rice was added in.We also ordered chicken fried rice which was pretty good. Monday night extremely slow and quiet, lighting is really low. Overall the service could have been better as we were the only table there but once we were done on the other side of the restaurant they seemed to be busy with the hibachi side, so I'm assuming all the attention was there. Good enough for one try! Ps: They add their own tip!

We've been here twice now! Everyone else always gets hibachi and I get just sushi! My sushi has always been fantastic and I'm glad I have found a sushi place close to home!First time hibachi service was fantastic! There was entertainment, Saki squirted in our mouth, water out of a little peeing boy bottle for the kids and just an all-around great experience!Last time we were there, everything felt very rushed like they wanted us out of there! The hibachi guy was not very fun and straight to the point! My fiancé and I are both dairy free and he put butter on the filet ! Which my fiancé can take lactose pills snd still enjoy but I couldn't eat any!Just a silly thing but there's only a changing table in the women's bathroom, so when we go there, my son becomes my duty! What would happen if he took him without me? Would you like him to change his diaper in the lobby instead?

I had not been to Canton's Ichiban in a very long time, but I was really craving it and decided to drop in for a meal. Upon arrival, I was shocked at how much the inside of this location has changed. It's really worn down, and needs to be upgraded severely. The bar stools have rust all over them, it's dusty and dirty everywhere, and overall it's very gloomy in this location. The restaurant is a complete ghost town! The people were nice, but they even seemed down in the dumps due to the lack of customers in the building. I ended up ordering the hibachi chicken dinner, which was well over $25 dollars--plus over $1.75 for the butter you get on that side. I could not believe it. Their drink menu was reasonably priced, but even the bar quality was bad, and they did not have basic bar drinks available. My meal was delicious, but the portion sizes were not worth what I paid. I'm very disappointed in this establishment and hope they implement changes soon.

The salmon they sell, is NOT salmon!! The oil they use on the grill is toxic...not sure how they are even still open.

So I went to ichiban for the first time last night to meet a coworker for a late dinner, and I've been sick since I left. I ordered a Singapore sling to drink, and it arrived in one of the grimiest glasses I've ever seen. For my meal I ordered the steak and scallops hibachi plate, the portions were generous but I found several discarded pistachio shells on my plate. When the server returned to check on us, I asked what dish here had pistachios in it, to which she seemed confused. She took my plate back and I heard a great amount of yelling and arguing back and forth over it, she returned and let me know nothing in the restaurant had pistachios in it. I left and continued on my night for about an hour by the time I got home I was fairly ill and I'm writing this review at 11 AM the next morning still getting sick. The best case scenario is that someone in the kitchen who was preparing my food, was eating pistachios, and the shells somehow fell Into my plate, the worst case scenario is that dirty refuse was placed intentionally on my plate.Thank God, they gave me a 10% discount for that... Never ever even thinking of returning.

Went for a birthday party, great experience. Just know if you tell them it's a birthday your paying 8 dollars for the experience. A nice fried icream and an entertaining show. The family enjoyed the hibachi experience

I wanted to give this place 5 stars but when my food arrived because I ordered from Grubhub they literally gave me what I think was a half order of steak and lobster. There were 5 little pieces of lobster and the steak can't can't say for sure but they definitely shortened me food to fit in that small container. And it's not cheap. In the picture below I already ate some of the food I just wanted to show the container they ship it in. They charged me full price but gave me less. I don't know why they gave me shrimp I did not order shrimp. The food tasted pretty good. The lobster was over grilled. Would I order again? I'm sorry to say that no, I would not.
