Hydrangea Kitchen

Went here for the first time and wish I would've known about them sooner. In my opinion they have the best Maurice salad around. They have a nice outdoor tables set up when the weather is nice and indoor they have very cool decor and almost a southern feel with lots of flowers. They have lots of yummy homemade sweets you can add onto your order which you place at register in the back. They're very friendly and you get your food fast. Check them out!

Cute little cafe. Peppermint milkshake, Caprese sandwich and a Turkey club less bacon. $23.97. Caprese panini was good. The club was fine, big and thick cuts of roasted Turkey meat, it was okay. Less the bacon makes a rather bland sandwich. Service was good. Peppermint shake was okay, the peppermint was crushed candy and only on top of the whip cream only.

The Maurice Salad, chopped and tossed, extra dressing was OFF THE HOOK DELICIOUS! Major props to the owner/chef. Great food. Decent price. Fast service.

Very nice place. Salad was fresh and delicious. I also enjoyed the fresh strawberry lemonade.

Found this place by a fluke although my husband and I went at a bad time because it was lunch time for all the high-schools it was still quick and the yummiest thing I ate! We ordered a chicken Caesar sandwich absolutely amazing, a breakfast sandwich my husband was ready to sell me for and a large fry that is way better than 5 guys and 1/4 the price im absolutely in love! And the lady on register was a sweetheart

Food is ok, but it's pretty expensive. I'm pretty sure normal people don't actually come here and their main clientele is highschoolers who forgot to pack a lunch.

Hydrangea is quite simply the best spot in Grosse pointe to grab lunch! Try the south of the border menu and dip anything you eat in chipotle sauce, you won't regret it.

I could almost give Hydrangea 5 stars, but I need to eat there a few more times to be sure, and that's good news for me because what I've tried is delicious. I don't think a Cobb salad can get any better. They also have the JL Hudson Maurice salad... mmm. The rest of the menu looks great with specialty sandwiches and burgers and more. The dining area is small and quaint, and there are some items for sale (gifts and antiques). We ordered our food at the counter and they bring it to your table when it's ready. The staff and cooks are very pleasant too. We found it tasty and relaxing. Try the cucumber lemonade!Update: 08/16/14: Yeah. Gotta give Hydrangea 5 stars. The food is fresh and delicious and the setting is perfect for a local cafe. Breakfast too. Very tasty!

I've been going to hydrangea for years and they never disappoint. Food is fresh and tasty. Service is great! Love this place!

Their Turkey Club sandwich and Belgian fries are so darn good! I think that the ciabatta is made in-house. Delish!
