My first time at this business where I spent the afternoon with my adult twin sons celebrating their birthday. My boys are a big fan of this business where they have visited in the past as part of work related team building events, which this business excells at, and also as part of smaller get togethers with their friends. Lots of unique games here where we ended up doing the axe throwing and Football bowling which was a blast while sipping on our drinks from their full service bar. Of particular note, they make Craft cocktails here where my Woodford Reserve Old Fashion was excellent where there are way too many bars in our area that have no idea on how to make a good old fashion. Pet Peeve of mine....In addition to the bar, this business also serves food where the menu is fairly large and diverse where it has all your typical bar food but so much more where it probably best aligns with the Bistro category. The other thing worth mentioning is that this business also offers a happy hour from 2 - 6 PM where beer, wine and well drinks are $5 so not bad for you value conscious folks out there.Overall if you are looking to have some fun and good drinks with friends, this place ticks off both boxes where you should definately check this business out if in the area. Also this is a primetime option in my opinion for any work related team building event, especially during the colder months, when outdoors is usually not an option.

Highly recommend CURLING at the Hub for a fun and unique group activity! We were a group of 9 and an hour rental I believe was around $30pp (pre tip!). We all arrived 15-30min before our reservation start time to sign waivers, get shoe/shoe cover rentals, and get a little head start on learning the ropes. We had an attendant the entire time, I think his name was Eric, who was just great. For almost everyone in our group, it was our first time curling. He started out by explaining and demonstrating how to throw the stone and we each practiced once to try to get a feel for it. At first it seemed a little harder than I was expecting (so slippery! the coordination!) but actually it seemed like over the course of the hour we all did... um, adequate lol. Then we split into two teams and managed to get in 3.5 games within our time slot. Eric was there the entire time giving tips to help us, which was much appreciated, otherwise I'm not sure we would've had a clue what we were doing :). He also managed the scoring for us. The scoreboard thing was very confusing so that was very helpful as well. All in all, lots of fun and lots of laughs. I have sore arms the next day from all the sweeping, so I'm counting it as a workout as well haha. Dress warmly, as it's pretty cold to maintain the ice, comfortably, as you'll be doing some deep lunges, and wear socks! Gloves wouldn't hurt either. The Hub itself looks like a huge space with dining, drinking, axe throwing, etc, in addition to curling. It was empty when we were leaving, as they were just closed to the public for what seemed like a holiday party that was about to start.

This is a fun spot at 12 Mile Crossing - Fountain Walk in Novi. Great for groups of any size. It's a bit loud but it's that type of place. They have ax throwing, curling and football bowling. We stopped in for dinner, and were pleased. Service was prompt, friendly and efficient. They have mobile pads to take orders, which is nice to see. We had the steak street tacos and the fish and chips. Both were awesome. They have a large and varied menu - something we didn't expect.Prices are reasonable. They have daily specials Monday - Friday from 3-7pm.We will certainly be back.

Went by here to watch some of the evening curling and the business seems to have some very distinct organizational challenges. People that setup, register, work with each of the activities seem very well organized and competent. The bar and food staff seem VERY understaffed and extremely disorganized, and overburdened with too many distinct functions happening simultaneously. The bar selection of drinks was excellent though, and I think if you're going here for curling, axe throwing or fowling you're going to enjoy those activities and experience. I can't say the same for the bar or food.

I was here for a company team building event last year. We ordered an array of their bar food items, several buffalo wings, a few nacho plates, a couple of pretzel bites, hummus and veggies, a few pepperoni pizzas, a few quesadillas too. The food was what you would expect for a bar food fare. The axe throwing was enjoyable for the first hour or so, fowling too by most of my colleagues. Those are are the two activities our group signed up for. Service was good, but it wasn't super busy after lunch and we were gone by the middle of the afternoon.

LOVE HUB Stadium in Novi! There is one significantly closer to me in Auburn Hills, but it doesn't have CURLING and HUB Stadium Novi does! For my birthday, I booked a curling lane for my friends and I to try out this fun winter-based activity! It was INCREDIBLE!Make sure to dress warm if you're curling since the curling space (located upstairs at the HUB where axe throwing and fowling and bars/event spaces are located downstairs) is a huge sheet of ice, enclosed! It's going to be a bit cold in there because of that.It doesn't matter what shoes you wear here, they will always have Crocs (dupes) available for you to wear if you come in wearing heels or bulkier boots or something where the rubber slip covers you put over your shoes (so you don't slip on the ice) don't fit. Just make sure to bring socks - especially if you're going to come in the warmer weather time! Basically, just like bowling and rental shoes, except the Crocs here are free to use during your curling session. Also, make sure to arrive ~30 minutes early so you can finish paying the rest of the rental fee, get everyone to sign the waves, shoes all taken care of, and headed upstairs to get ready to curl so that you can hit the ice right when your hour begins! The max per curling lane is 8 people, $250/hour per lane. So it came out to $31 before tip. I was able to add on one extra person at $25/per additional person past that 8. You get one hour of curling, plus an instructor that walks you through how to curl and is there supervising and offering suggestions throughout the hour. It was super fun and super helpful to have that, and at the end of your hour, you can add on to your receipt the tip you want to leave. My birthday is mid-December, so I highly recommend that you go online to book a lane (where you pay 50% of the deposit). Lanes can be booked exactly a week out from your date, and especially during the holiday timeframe, with a lot of private parties/holiday parties going on, you'll want to maybe even call to make sure the time frame you're thinking of going is even available and that the HUB isn't booked for a full facility rental already.Honestly, it was so much fun and if you're looking for a fun experience with a larger-sized group, I would highly recommend this! There aren't many places in Michigan where you get the opportunity to try out curling, so this is super unique to try out! We had a great time and there's so much to do in the West Oaks/Fountain Walk area, so for my birthday, after we left the HUB from our hour of curling, we went and got dinner at KPot KBBQ & Hot Pot (just a few businesses down from The HUB) and then went to the middle of the Fountain Walk area after dinner to catch a movie at Emagine Novi! Three separate activities with no additional driving required! It was a blast and I couldn't recommend it enough!

I have very mixed feelings about this place. It opened in a space that was the former Lucky Strikes bowling alley. I did like that place when it first opened but it went down hill and closed. This business which also has a location in Auburn Hills opened and I do want this area to thrive. But the entire experience from start to finish was lackluster and not what I was expecting. I was sort of greeted at the door to see if I was doing any activities by an initial person but then the hostess did not really address me and I had to ask if I was to be seated or to seat myself. I noticed the code to get the menu on my phone but was quite confused as to if I should go to the bar, which did not have a bar tender there as I walked around to ask questions, order on my phone (some places have web ordering and they bring it to your table), or if I needed to wait for a server. There was one party doing an activity, and one other party of people finishing their meal, with one server walking around but not really engaging. Then the hostess finally came around and said there was only one server and she would help me. I asked her about happy hour (it was a little after 4:00) and she told me it ended at 4:00. I was confused and told her it ended at 6:00 and she had to look at the menu on my phone. I asked about the $2 margs, since it said Taco Tuesday, and there was a special all day. She was again confused and did not know that was happening and had to go find the bar tender to ask. I had some friends finally join me since we wanted the happy hour specials and finally another server showed up but did not know a lot about the restaurant. I tried to order their chips, guach, and queso, which was sold a la carte for $2 each. The cook from the kitchen delivered them but gave me some of the wrong items in tiny condiment cups and the server had to rectify it by asking for the larger bowls. The chips were a very large portion, the salsa had a strange flavor (this is not what I ordered), the guach looked fresh and appeared to have onion and cilantro, but really had zero flavor, and the cheese looked and tasted like it came from a jar from the grocery store and not house made and congealed very quickly. The first marg I got was fairly good, but the second was not how I ordered it and they never fixed that situation. They had popcorn with flavored salts at the bar which is fun but I did not see anyone at the bar to get me anything. As for the others in my party, they asked for an menu instead of using the phone and were given a broken iPad and told to see if it would turn on. They also felt the waitstaff was not overly kind. The fries were good. But when we got the bill people in the party were charged many unexplained up charges. They were charged extra for drinks even though it was happy hour, and the drinks were very weak. The margs were premixed with not a lot of alcohol, just a splash for taste and other drinks were charged more for ice. Some of the tacos had up charges for the type of filling that was selected even though the menu did not state that there different prices for different meats, just one price and said choice of filling. There was a credit card fee on the bill. When we asked the server she did not know then came back and said it was stated on the menu. While this is true, the business wants you to use your phone to order which is very small screen and this is written in tiny letters at the bottom which would not be noticed unless you scrolled down and pinched the screen bigger to see and was not on the bill as credit card fee but as "fees total". Plus, we were given our check without even requesting it and felt like we were being pushed out. We were not necessarily done ordering, especially since we had a couple additional people join us. The place had not other new customers either so I am not sure why they did not ask if we wanted more to drink or dessert. I would have thought they would want us to stay, the place was empty. I do feel for businesses, it is really difficult to find people to want to work, but this place seems to have hiring and retention issues and seems to have been opened for about a year but has not worked out the kinks of being a new business. I am not saying I would not go back but it would not be my first place to return to.
