A great place to meet your friends for some delicious food and drinks. Love the sports bar atmosphere, has an indoor or outdoor patio and a Speak Easy! We had the steak bites, so tender and flavorful, my friend had the French dip, melts in your mouth and the nachos are amazing! They also have a unique, private venue you can rent in the back for events, like bachelor, bachelorette parties, reunions, etc! Service is fantastic! We'll be going back! The owner is very accommodating, if you need a place to have a meeting, small party, whatever, he is ready to help you.

I am lowering my star rating on this nice bar, with decent food in cold beer. Basically, this is in protest of their new policy of adding a 20% tip and a service tax automatically to a bill. If you have a large group I understand this, large crowds tend to tip less. If you feel your waitresses and bartenders deserve more money, then you should pay them. Gratuities are given for services rendered and on a voluntary basis. No one should have the right just to take my money. So therefore, I will not give you my money. I will now take my business elsewhere and make sure that I let everyone else know that this is the new policy.

I'd rather choose how much I tip when I have a beer and a shot. I understand parties of 6 or more for dinner but a shot and beer.See ya later. I'll spend my money elsewhere.

We've ordered pickup here several times and dined in one. This is a great neighborhood pub.I can speak highly of the patty melt, the potato skins, and the quesadilla. The servers and bartenders are really friendly and the food always comes out quickly.If you find yourself in the area, definitely stop by.

This place is a lot of fun. Good food and drinks, but how in the world can they not offer an Irish cheddar for the burgers????? It is such a huge issue with me as everywhere you look is Irish stuff, and I mean EVERYWHERE. But when I order a burger, which are all realllllllly good, and ask for Irish cheddar, they still do not have it. Please guys for the love of God start carrying Irish cheddar at your Irish bar for your Irish food.

House of Shamrocks has been an institution in Hazel Park for as long as I can remember. They survived the increase in property values that resulted from adjacent communities becoming Cool. Owner Michael Wilds clearly wanted this to be more than just another neighborhood bar, and it shows.The interior is kept incredibly clean (this is a sports bar, after all), but still has a relaxed feel. You might feel encouraged to stay a little while, with TVs tuned to sports everywhere you look, and reasonably priced drinks (my 24 ounce Alaskan Amber was only $6.50). There are 12 beers on tap, and a wide range of liquors, too: the whiskey sour was strong, for only $4.But, you won't have to wait long for the food. It was crowded early on a Saturday (as crowded as social distancing allowed), but we got our food maybe 5 minutes after ordering it. Seriously.And the food is GOOD. The Reuben is massive, stacked with tasty, lean corned beef, and perfectly grilled with buttery bread. You can tell the fries are cut in-house because there's a *potato* flavor that you get in every bite. Also perfectly crispy. The Reuben only set me back $11.Stop in for a drink and something to eat (everything I've had here is good), or get a carry out. You really can't go wrong.

It was my first time visiting house of shamrock, truly an amazing experience! Tia was such a great hostess great energy and just amazing all around! Maverick was also very welcoming and grabbed my order. It was over all an amazing experience! Everyone is kind and great energy and vibes all around! I had the mozzarella sticks they were hands down the best I've ever had! Great place to chill with friends, whether you drink or don't! They even serve Budweiser with 0 alcohol! Great place for meeting new people and just having a good time! Love this bar! The turkey burger (breeze burger i think ) is amazing and the staff is even better. Awesome service 10/10 !!

Fish and chips were good but I wish I got the sauce I had to pay extra for. $1 for a tiny ramekin that I didnt even receive.

I have been a on an off again customer of Shamrocks for years grew up in the neighborhood. Love their food and drinks and usually I enjoy my self. Yesterday evening I went into Shamrocks to pick up a delivery order for someone else as soon as I walked in a women I assumed was a drunken customer her self approach me, tried to block my path and proceeded to tell me I wasn't welcomed. Calling me a bitch and being very hostile/rude to me and my younger sister. When I realized who she was a woman named Rain or Rainy. I asked her why. What's the problem I processed to walk to the bar at the same time she went behind the bar to continue harassing me raising her voice, threw someone's food at me while I was sitting at the bar. I then proceeded to look at the other employees that were behind the bar as they stood by and let it happen not saying a word but looking shocked and embarrassed like they didn't know what to say. A heavier set white man with a beard I could only assume was the head manager kept walking closer and closer to this irate woman behind the bar as if he wasn't sure how to handle the situation or ever so slightly trying to keep her from possibly turning our verbal argument into a physical one. I was very appalled by this of professionalism or lack there of. I loved shamrocks everyone from school went there. I always loved the vibe, ambience of it all, but yesterday proved that they have slipped very far with their managerial duties in keeping their employees in check. Letting them sit and being able to sit down and have a drink with a customers and then get up and go right behind the bar and start causing disturbances. I felt like this needed to be shared. All these things can be fixed with simple actions. Take control of your bar Shamrocks. Letting umpire employees act like they run the show and letting them believe they have the power makes me think who's really in charge? Thank you that's all.
