House of Reuben

Consistency is the key with a friendly staff and darn good sandwiches.Came by last night, pretty empty, with my sister and we both enjoyed a great sandwich. She went for a corned beef sandwich on rye. While I took the big Pastramu Reuben on pumpernickel.A delight for us both.

Great food and great service! The ambiance could definitely use some improvement but over all a great meal at a good price. The waitress was very sweet!

Great family owned restaurant!!! The staff incredibly nice, welcoming as soon as you enter the door. Superb service! The menu has a variety of items and everything that I have ordered has been delicious! House of Reuben is one of our favorite restaurants to dine at. We will definitely continue to frequent this establishment....

My dad has been going to House of Ruben for 40+ years and I've been going since I was a kid. The food is always exceptional with large portions, the service from the owner down to the waitresses is so warm and welcoming. I will always recommend this place!

Good place. Soups are classic made on site standbys. Sandwiches are generous and of good quality. Pretty good fries. The least favorite thing I experienced is they use a griddle fry butter type of product with a strong flavor and kind of a lot of it. So the bread on your grilled sandwich tastes of it.

Ok. Love this place for so many reasons. But confused about another reason. Will explain later.Service is excellent. Seat yourself. Menus on tables. Server brought out waters immediately, was sweet, friendly, accommodating, and had a good pace. Check presented midway through and no rush assured. Cash out at counter.Noticed the server attended to diners promptly and cleaned tables quickly. Food is excellent. If you love dill pickles, they make them in-house. Crunchy, fresh, perfect balance of vinegar brine. No charge like chips at Mexican restaurants. Had #8A Reuben Special first time awhile ago. This time ordered House Special with Pastrami instead and with 1000 Island. Here's my confusion: Why does a place that touts to be The House of Reuben and serves their House Special Reuben with MUSTARD SAUCE, and not 1000 Dressing? Perhaps that's what makes it "special"?Ambiance is excellent. Thankful for NO MUSIC. I loved eating in peace. My spouse and I can hear each other clearly. Other diners are just enjoying cordial conversations. What an oasis.This is just a classic, old school diner. Owner was greeting regulars because he knew all their names.Support this small business that is an institution.

Best family owned restaurant! All of the menu items are great. I love the jumbo shrimp app.

Very good corned beef and Reuben sandwiches. Call a head and pick your order up at there drive thru window.
