I thought almond chicken was a thing of the past. When I returned back to my native Detroit, I was excited to find almond chicken on the menu of a Chinese cuisine establishment. It was crisp and juicy. The brown gravy was seasoned just right! I haven't had this dish in 27 years, and it was just as I had hoped it would be. Delicious! The fried rice was moist and not too salty. I love that they haven't started selling those mini egg rolls. These were full-size and crunchy. My trip here in Detroit ends soon, but I will definitely pay them a visit before my departure! It's definitely the spot for Chinese food.

Our local go to for 15 years and counting. Good is great and prices are beyond reasonable. We usually get the almond boneless chicken and rotate through their other entrees.

House of Chan is a go to for me. The food is always good, portions, big and the best egg rolls. I could eat egg rolls as a meal,but that's probably not healthy. The kung pao shrimp is my favorite dish but they have all been tasty and well prepared. If tou want American style Chinese food, they are a first choice for me.

Every thing from egg rolls, soup, entree's were not even warm let alone hot! Wait staff not very good take order bring food that it never adked if we needed anything or it our meal was ok! Canned sweet & sour sauce, food is pre cooked ahead & thrown at u to eat & leave! There off my list of places to eat!!Not star rating!!

No crab in crab rangoon, ALL cream cheese (no flavor). Two small pieces of bland chicken in chicken fried rice, General Tso Chicken and plain fried rice were very bland. Little to know flavor in everything I got. I would not recommend.

Service is shxt, theres a huge disconnect in language, and when did it cost more money to have items removed!!!! No vegetables costs extra! Ive been going here for 8 years and not once has it been the same price, food is good and only place that makes the red sweet and sour sauce north of 8 mile. But we went from 9 to 23 in a matter of 3 years and it didnt complain after the 6 dollar hike for inflation and what not but now its just ridiculous. Not sorry.

This is totally ridiculous. My wife and I ordered two of these dinners tonight and took them home for carry out. On opening the bag, realizing the disaster of the mess! This is not acceptable packaging this restaurant does this repeatedly and we are through spending our time and money there, the food is always been exceptionable, but the carry out packaging is ridiculous. This is not proper. Stop using cheap Styrofoam containers with a staples shot thinking that none of the liquids gonna come out.
