Beers and a great menu. But, not just beers, craft beers that are some of the best. Their Octoberfest is really one of the best and you can pair it with a pretty decent menu selection too.Place is always busy which is a testimony to the above and a pretty solid wait staff.Keep up the great work!

I'm always trying to check out new places with my lunch friends, and this came up on my list. With the Grand Prix in town and pride month starting, it limited where I was going to go due to crowd size and such. So, I chose a location that was not in Ferndale or downtown to make things easier on everyone.Walking in, there seems to be ample seating space. There were two larger parties/families already eating so we sat at a high top table. They offer Sunday brunch but we were so hungry we started off with the beer cheese and pretzel bites. the pretzel bites were good, but also simultaneously tasted like donuts? Interesting. the cheese was a little bit difficult to spread but still good. Our server forgot to bring us plates to eat on, which was kind of annoying. They both kept doing this and even though they were wonderful people, they seemed to forget small stuff and like syrup for my french toast, extra plates for the appetizer, napkins, no straws, etc.I didn't get a drink because I was already so tired it would've made me fall asleep at the table. Also, I docked a star because this place is insanely LOUD. They need to do something because we could hardly hear ourselves talk and the acoustics were awful. It was a good experience, but they really could turn it up a notch here.

Not what I was expecting for a brewing company. It I was pleasantly surprised! We went this past Friday and they have live music, which is always a nice touch. They also have some games sprinkled throughout the venue. The service was nice, very polite and prompt without being in your face. The food was fantastic! Again, not what I'd expect for a brewing company-such a great mix of fresh ingredients and dishes. The salads are a hit!

Really good beer and very tasty food. We started with the Spinach Artichoke Dip, very tasty and unlike any we have had in the past. It was cheesier than any other spinach, artichoke dip and served with soft yet toasted sliced pita pieces and was extremely good. I had the "Spicy Chicken PitaHouse-made chicken patty tossed in HGBC Avery Ale buffalo sauce, pickles, shredded lettuce & gorgonzola crème on toasted pita" , it was really good but didn't quite hit a home run with me for dinner. The fries that came with it however were extremely good ! Wife had the "Roasted Cauliflower SaladOven-roasted cauliflower, feta cheese crème, quinoa, fried shallots, mixed greens w/ lemon vinaigrette" that she absolutely loved. I had a couple of bites and it was really good ! Our waitress Brianna was great, she recommended the Cauliflower Salad and the beers we had and was all around fantastic.

Good service with great beers! People work there is very nice and kind. They have some Asian foods on Manu. Tried ramen and it was more of pho instead. (It was good though.). Highly recommend.

Headed to hometown for a birthday party. Great selection of brews and apps. The pretzels and beer cheese were delicious! Spin dip was also a hit! I ordered the Mac and cheese which was good- but the added chicken was a bit bland. My husband got the chicken nugg sandwich which was pretty good, but the fries were a big hit! Good service, and friendly staff as well!

Another enjoyable evening on the outdoor patio! Server was great! The food was awesome. We brought 2 new guests and they enjoyed themselves. We will all be returning!!! Thanks

Great food - great service! I always enjoy going here and love the menu items, specials, and have fully enjoyed the experience and flavors at the brew & bites.

I had the pretzel bites with beer cheese$12. They were fine except for the not spreadable beer cheese. It was minced cheese and did not lend itself to spread on the bites. Next I had the chicken nugwich sandwich,$15, the bun was soaked with undrained coleslaw dressing, the meat was grey looking. Yes, I did talk to the waiter about these problems. He said he would talk w/the cook. The Little Sunshine Pale Ale was fine.I typically have the Chicken Lo Mein $18, which is delicious and that's what I will have next time.

This place had a really nice atmosphere, outdoor seating with fireplaces and string lights. The food was decent, a little bland in my opinion. Fries had zero seasoning but still nice and crispy. I had the Chicken Nugwich sandwich, was a little disappointed it was not very flavorful. Could not really taste the sauce that was on it at all, even the coleslaw didn't really have a strong taste. The chicken was okay, not the best chicken sandwich I've had by far though. I'd give it a 4 out of 10. My boyfriend had an HGBC Burger, which he said was also a little bland but still a decent burger. Service was great and the outdoor seating was a very nice vibe. Would go again just for the seating.
