Hollywood Mediterranean Cuisine

We've had supper here a few times now, and every time the food is fantastic! The starter platter with hummus, baba ganoush, and tabbouli, was excellent, soups are delicious, and the falafel was the best we've ever had. Also, rice pudding for dessert was delicious. Service is friendly, attentive, and polite. I wish it was a little closer to us, but it's worth the 20 minute drive!! Prices are very reasonable, too.

Let me start by saying I've never actually physically been to this location, I've only been getting DoorDash for a few months now from here. That being said over the last few months of my orders have always been consistent and packaged very well! The prices here are great, you can't beat them. The hummus with beef and chicken Shawarma hit the spot on a busy workday. The Shawarma is a good size,so is the hummus, And there sure to include plenty of bread.

He must of been around 16 years old and he did not use a pen to write down our order when he took it (impressive) He did a fantastic job, tipped him well, very deserving. He was on top of everything. Anything we asked for he was there in a quick fast pace. We were checked on a few times during our meal and the owner came over to thank us for coming in. Cute family restaurant glad we found this little place to continue to enjoy. Food: Chicken shawarma: comes with tomatoes and onions on it as well... (be aware of those who are not veggie fans)Fattoush salad: we received quickly, fresh, big servings (we ordered a medium to split between two people and did not finish it) Fries: crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside (perfect fry balance, honestly we could of eaten so much more because it was so tasty)Yellow Rice: perfect touch to add to the shawarma Price: x2 chicken shawarma x1 med saladx1 large servicing of garlic sauce x1 side of friesx1 yellow rice x2 drinks $24.00 !!!!!!!!

Ok, first let me clarify, I'm going to give four stars on their food and 5+ stars on their service. I've never quite experienced service like this, they are so genuine and nice. I wanted to try something new and this place kept popping up. I looked at the reviews, one in particular caught my eye. The reviewer was complaining about the bread served. Normally, at middle eastern restaurants, you're served a fluffy round bread puff, warm right out of the oven, but I'm here to tell you, that that is just not authentic. That's like going to an Italian restaurant and comparing it to Olive Garden ‍. The bread served is authentic "pita bread" as Americans call it. Growing up Lebanese, it's always been known as Syrian bread in my home, and you eat it with everything, basically in place of using utensils. I was over the moon when I saw they served Syrian bread, it's the best, especially when it's fresh! I ordered a chicken shawarma as well as a tabbouli/hummus sandwich. Both were very good, but I added rice to the tabbouli one and that was a mistake on my end. When I arrived, I was a tad bit early, so I talked with the owner for a minute. I saw a tray of baklava on the counter and I freaked! I had no idea that they had some, but when he saw my eyes light up, he said he'd get me some. You guys, he didn't even let me pay for it!!! I also asked for some Syrian bread, so I could share my own picture of it. People of the world, please don't complain about getting middle eastern bread I stand of some fluffy ball of dough. Trust me when I say, yes, if may be different to you, but it's delicious! I will definitely be returning to Hollywood to try different items.

Great food. I will continue to eat their food however the dine in area needs lots of work. Dirty and lack luster weird lights and just not a pleasant atmosphere. I do love their food but the shawarma has way more added things than I've ever had before.

The food was amazing and our waitress was so nice and gave great recommendations! Definitely recommend the shawarma bowl and fattoush salad.

Real family restaurant, serving real family food. Very authentic Mediterranean cuisine, with very kind service. The food I ordered came quick and was some of my favorite I tried in Detroit, and a clean place to eat. Also, I left my wallet there, I live in Ohio and they got ahold of me and made sure to ship it back to me the next day. Will be returning every time I'm in town

Where was this little gem hiding? We have probably driven past this strip mall surprise a thousand times, completely oblivious about the fantastic feast that lay inside. We have a favorite Mediterranean restaurant in SH and rarely go elsewhere. I regret that now. Started with saganaki and then we just ordered enough food for 4 people because we couldn't make up our minds what we wanted. We ate too much before it occurred to me to take pics, so none of those-next time. Chicken shawarma was moist and flavorful, spinach pie was great, shish kafta was a favorite of the hubs. Steak kabob was good, I'll get it medium rare next time. The hubs liked the hummus too. We will definitely be back and soon!

I got takeout chicken shwarma and fatoosh. It way really fresh and delicious. A great value too.

fantastic food. i saw a bad review on here, shame on you giving a review on a delivery order! food may not be #1, but you add the ppl who run it, they are close! grapeleaves are excellent, any chicken dish, excellent. we go here at least 3-4 times a month, my coworkers like it too.i have one difficult change though, add fresh hot pita bread and the stock of this company goes to the moon!!oh, one of the better gyros w/fries too!
