Holiday Market Select

Yes i love this market it is so close to me and it has really good costumer service. The people there are really nice too! And they sell some amazing food.

Just ordered a salad from the HMS salad bar & this little gem was included (see gigantic avocado pit). How does that even happen?!

If you are in the area and need something quick for dinner or a forgotten item, this is your place. Small size but wide selection. Fresh, frozen, and refrigerated food to choose from. Fresh pizza and sandwiches. Candy and flowers if you need to get back in someone good graces or need to cheer yourself up.Friendly service, public bathroom, hot coffee, cold ice cream with bakery goods. The only thing they lack is fountain pop. Parking lot in back and spaces in front. Traffic light helps you get out on that too busy road it is on.Always stop in when I am in the area.

I am from RO, so, I am a bit biased about Holiday markets. The main store is a place I go to at least twice a week. If this holiday market select happens to be open on my way from work. I will sometimes come here for a condensed version of what's at Holiday by my house. It's convenient since it's on my way home from work.It's the same great service I get at the Main Street location. Lots of the same basic grocery items and many of the same deli and prepared food offerings too, maybe just left varieties of the same food category is all. Come here if you want more simplified food options. It's easier to figure out what to buy if there's less options, right?

Great gourmet grocery store that's been recently expanded. Awesome renovation with friendly, helpful staff. They aren't big, but they always have fresh food well stocked. You'd think this place would be hit or miss given its small size, but going there frequently I've never been disappointed!!

Well I just couldn't believe it, this place in in a part of town where you expect to be price gouged, and you walk in and the interior is beautiful. Then the real kicker, the prices are totally reasonable and the foods great!!!!! The pre made food is amazing you won't believe how many ready to go dishes they have. Also good liquor/wine selection and a coffee bar (I didn't try it but it looked proper) if you're on this side of town check this place out

I keep changing my review for this place. It reminds me of the grocery stores in bad parts of Detroit - limited inventory, generic/processed brands, with little bits of depression sprinkled here and there. And, they open at 11. Like, WTF. Good liquor selection however. Low quality food from the deli counter. Can we talk about the chicken?They use the most disgusting rubber, low quality, low quality chicken I've ever had. You can taste the miserable life the chicken had. It tastes like a rubbery processing plant. Or like a shoe. It's honestly disgusting. We like all natural chicken around here. Save that nasty shit for your mama, Holiday. Not sure why you have such low opinions of the local residents. My guess is they close at the end of 2018....Holiday if you're reading this and want help, private message me and I'll help you.

Love this store - has everything that you could ask for Nice take away selection from wWild salmon to great sandwiches and salads.Really nice wine selection both red and chilled whites & chilled saki as well.

Holiday Market Select is exactly what it says it is and aims to be; a supplement to your main grocery store run or a quick meal. It certainly isn't designed to be your only grocery store, nor could it be in 3,000 square feet. It has deli counter with Boars Head Meats. A decent butcher with standard cuts. And prepared food ranging from Holiday's bbq to healthier options. Personally, I'm a sucker for their chopped salads to order and am glad Holiday brought this service to this store. Prices are what you'd expect for a high end speciality market in Birmingham. The "pantry" items are fairly limited and basic. But I don't think Holiday is trying to be anything more than a better CVS or Walgreens with their selection. You can easily grab the essentials for a quick mea or pick up a forgotten item from your main grocery run.Oh, and they have beer and wine.

Worst customer service!Please re train your cashiers to be polite and friendly to customers at the point of sale. It should not be an imposition to ask to put in phone number for loyalty rewards program. Is it that hard to offer a receipt or say thank you so people do not feel like it is an imposition to have groceries rung up
