Hippies Pizza

I have only had carry out from here a couple of times, it gets an A for creativity for sure. It's a delivery only spot for sure. Gourmet pizza spot. Lots of menu item options for folks that like pizza out of the box ideas. The execution of their pizzas I have always felt was not as fantastic as it could be and for their prices though. My husband always tends to get his pizzas a large, for some cold leftovers the next day. We have tried: BBQ pizza with chicken $22.99, magic mushroom $22.99, veggie supreme $22.99, white stripe pizza $22.99, Hawaiian punk $24.99Service is standard. No ambiance really, since it's a delivery spot.

I've been eating my way through the Hippies pizza menu for a solid six months now. Like literally have tried maybe half of the hundred or so pizzas on the menu. The guys working are so slobby and constantly stoned but they actually do a really good job with their orders, and the pizza is reliably good. It is NOT artisan pizza. But it is creative and delicious. Some of my favorites have been the porky's, the chicken parm, the Mack pizza, and the steakhouse. The only one I didn't like so far was the Willie Nelson which was just too weird.They have plenty of choices for size and style, they're open late, and they do a good job with delivery.All in all, it's not great pizza but it is what it is. I will order again.

CHEESE BREAD REVIEW ONLY : I'm 36, have eaten a lot of cheese bread in my life. Two of my coworkers and I got 3 different kinds of bread last night - 1: bacon onion mozz 2: the 3 cheese the one with ricotta and 3: the regular cheese bread . It was a consensus that they were all horrible. They were salty and the garlic powder didn't go. There was nothing really enjoyable about the breads at all including texture. The breads were just bad. I wouldn't ever get them again. I don't know how garlic cheese bread could be bad, but it just was.

While the service is slow, and the pizza joint does not have great in store or in restaurant dining area, It is a place that you definitely want to order ahead and then go and pick up. The pizza varieties are very diverse. Lots of options. I recommend looking at the menu. I would give this restaurant four stars because of the variety, and the food quality and toppings do not lock. A lot of food and value for your money.

I love this place. Amazing and creative gourmet. Pizza. Service is good. It's a carry out place. So your in and out.

Very unusual, and delicious pizza's. Best Monte Crisco I've had, just like Bennigan's used to make. Great Mom and Pop pizza shop!

This is from some months ago. I ordered a pizza which, with tip and all of the other 'fees', came to over $40.00. Absolutely the worst pizza I've ever had. I managed to eat 1/2 of one piece as almost the whole pizza was soggy, so I tossed it. I've lived just about across the street for 32 years and I drive by there every day and it hasn't even occurred to me in that period of time to order from there - and then I remembered why - I had the same experience there some years ago.Just one person's opinion, respectfully.Tania's at 13m/Crooks has excellent pizza - I would highly recommend this establishment.

Hey Hippies, go fly a kite!My wife went up to grab pizza the other day, (2) large with 2 toppings based on your M-W special for $21.99 plus $4 however the tab arrived over $40. Sadly I did not share with her to pay attention to exact $$ however, you are crooks and honesty your pizza was so weak like I remembered it about 10 years ago. Save your money people. Bait and Switch at a mom and pop wow. Pizza is very bland, with minimal toppings and extremely fatty meats.

Just ordered pizza and salad for delivery first time . On time delivery. Salad was ok. Pizza had no sauce, NONE. Toppings wrong. Called and talked to manager. Unapologetic. No more Hippies. Don't do it. Pizza 5.6. Service 1.3.

Not good tonight, 1st ordered wings with sauce on the side, came with sauce on the wings. Pizza, tastes like ingredients are old, I think it's the beef. Pepperoni, ground beef and mozzarella balls. Just tastes old, don't know how to describe it. $50 down the drain .
