Hilltop Bar

The hill top is a special place .. the wait staff is always amazing friendly and makes you feel so special also they added food!! I had their cheeseburger it didn't disappoint ! The quality was so fresh and you can tell it is quality ingredients Would highly recommend this place 100%

Met a friend there for a few drinks. Cute place. Very casual corner type bar. Only complaint is the outdoor sign is so small that I passed it up twice lol

Fucking joke of a bar. Owner should get a new job. Wouldn't take debit or credit in a large group (40) and then took cc from individuals. I was trying to pay one tab for everyone. Dick

Best bar around, great jukebox. All the servers here are awesome! I knocked over my beer and they replaced it right away.

It is what it is. I hate when people say that! Like it should, could be something better if only it tried...No way...I say, if it ain't broke don't fix it...Weird that this place was (according to my review stars) the highlight of my weekend...but....it is what it is...haha....just kidding..I wouldn't change a thing about this place....it was just what I needed to end the night of busy, weird experiences..

Okay, the hilltop bar is by far one of my favorite places to go simply because they're not trying to be something they aren't. Draft selection is from 2 to 3 kinds of beer. They don't carry any dark beers (amber or otherwise), and their top shelf is $40 bottles- johnny walker black for example.But if you need a beer and don't want to deal with the long waits and snooty, horse-faced self-entitled waitresses (hello downtown utica) then this is where you're going tonight.Get your beer, put some good classics on the juke box, turn on the window ac unit, and relax. Nobody cares that you're at a low class place because at least you won't have to deal with all the douchebags from high school that go to the locker room saloon and cactus jacks.Go you.

Great place for a couple beverages with friends! Music isn't too loud that you have to yell to have a conversation. Had my girlfriend's birthday party there and Darko and the girls did a fantastic job. Very friendly, fun, and a pleasure to do business with!THANK YOU for helping make her party an enjoyable and memorable experience!!!

2009 - 2010 I went there a few times. I knew one of the employees ( think she was only employee at the time) that gross place was washing and reusing drinking straws. They also bought booze from stores and refilled bottles on display. Hopefully the owner who lived behind the place sold it. I found the place to be pretty gross.

Had a party here last night with 30 people. Darko was a gracious host and Cathy, the bartender, rocked!!!! Not only did she take care of our big group, she solely cared for everyone in the place. She remembered names, orders, and remained cheerful and pleasant the entire night. What a delight!! We chatted with other patrons coming and going throughout the evening. What a great group of people!!
