Hatorando Sushi & Sports Bar

If you're looking for great sushi, a classic/sporty environment, with a friendly staff, you'll love this place. I highly recommend the rock 'n' roll sushi roll! It's amazing!!!

Such a great venue! Went there for Fathers Day and ordered a wide variety of items to introduce the kid to MORE. We ordered the Octopus Salad, Fried Squid, Tempura Shrimp, different types of Sashimi, Spring Rolls, Vegetable Dumplings, Udon, Fried Rice.We were taken care of by lovely Brandy, who advised and tended to all of our needs. This was a great experience and I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anybody wanting to try it or who enjoys Japanese American cuisine!

This is a laid back sushi restaurant. It's part sports bar and sushi joint. My daughter and I came in with me in leggings and daughter in jeans and cowboy boots. No judgement! My waitress, Emma, was PHENOMENAL! I'm allergic to garlic and she checked everything that we ordered to make sure there was no garlic. We ordered the tempera shrimp and sweet potatoes, Cali roll, monster, and tuna tempera. I would pass on the tuna again. The rest was delicious. Nothing was left on the table. I even order saki to go. I'm not from this area and probably won't be around here in the near future, but I recommend coming here for relaxed, delicious dinner!!

I loved looking at all of the sports memorabilia. We have been a few times on our way through town. Each time, our server has been great. Lots of interesting sushi choices and some of the usual sushi staples. Highly recommend.

Ordered for the first time through Door Dash. Status was "preparing order" for over an hour. It only took the Dasher a few minutes to get to us once the food was picked up. The food was cold, so it must have been sitting at the restaurant for quite awhile. The chicken in the chicken fried rice had pieces that were charred, giving them a burnt taste. Not all pieces were like this, so it was still edible. We also got the House Yakisoba. It is supposed to have a mixture of chicken, steak, and shrimp.There was literallly 1 piece of shrimp in it, with the majority of the protein being chicken and some steak. We also got the shrimp tempura roll which was delicious. Overall I wasn't super impressed, but we will give it another try and this time we will try dining in for a better experience hopefully.

Superb sushi! This place was quiet and clean on a summer weekday lunch, it was a great place for a professional conversation as they have two sides to the restaurant, families and friends could be in another area as well. The sushi is beautiful and the chefs prepare each order on demand and clearly take pride in their product. 100% will return and recommend!

My family and friends love coming here for sushi and sake. The staff is amazing. A special shout out to Jessica for always being friendly and helpful. They have a nice long bar area that is a relaxed atmosphere. It's casual and they can accommodate big groups and sports teams.

My girlfriend and I used to really enjoy this location. The food was, and honestly still is, very good. We just left, making it our 6th trip total, and are confident to say that we will not be coming back. There is one specific server who seems to always have a problem with us when we come it, constantly giving us attitude when we ask very standard question (we never caught her name but she typically wears a red jersey type shirt and has her hair up) Example: Trivia night was happening on the bar side the last night. We came in and were greeted by this woman. We asked if it was okay if we sit on the dining side due to the noise and commotion. She then proceeded to audibly scoff, and roll her eyes at us. She says, " I guess..." and proceeds to look around like there isn't 3 open booths 2 feet away from where we are standing. She sits us at the aforementioned booth, and walks off. Throughout our meal, my girlfriend kept getting quieter and quiete. When I asked what was wrong, she says that the hostess was waiting on a table behind us and kept giving her dirty looks and says she doesn't know what she did wrong. Thats what upset me the most, there's no reason we should be made to feel like a burden or like we are doing something wrong for showing up.Not to mention (without fully expanding for sake of time) the time on my 2nd visit to this location, when I was with my mother for Mother's Day, and I ordered a roll and a side of the Wasabi Cajun Fries on the menu. This SAME employee stared at me in silence for 30 seconds (which may not feel like a long time, but stare at someone for 30 seconds and tell me you DONT feel uncomfortable), with the same irritated look on her face. She scoffs and says, "We dont have those, we have fries with cajun seasoning, and wasabi sauce". I look down at the part of the menu I was looking at, pointing at the sandwich that came with the fries I was looking for, that I've ordered before. Acouple times. She then scoffs and says, "I'll just bring you fries with it on the side". Not what I wanted but what am I gonna do, argue with this woman who clearly is agitated at the fact I wanted to order something from the menu ? My bad for wanting to eat at a RESTAURANT and/or not using the right vErBaGe. To top it all off, my mom wanted a refill on her water. I notice she hadn't had any in a while so I ask, "Gonna ask for more water ?". She says, "I just don't want her to get mad at me". Are you kidding me ????In Conclusion, my friends and family who have had similar run ins with this employee will not be returning. I recommend someone having a conversation with this woman and explain to her if she doesnt want to be there, she doesn't have to be there. No waitress/host should be making her patrons feel unwelcomed. Completely unacceptable. We don't see her acting this way with other patrons (which we don't know for sure, but we have a sneaking suspicion it may be race related due to my girlfriend visibly being a person of color and noticing the aggression focused mainly on her) but we recommend it's handled before she becomes a problem. We just hope this persons behavior will be called out and corrected. This is the first and hopefully only time I've filled out a YELP review, which should show how unacceptable and upsetting this REPEATED behavior is.(To end with a positive note, all other servers have been absolutely amazing, being very friendly, going above and beyond for us, and the chefs do fantastic work creating some incredible dishes. We hope everyone knows that this is a "one weak link" situation and we dont wish anyones to stop coming here.)

The Avocado Bomb was phenomenal. I also got the Hatorando Roll, which was completely different than expected but also very good! My parents got Soft Shell Crap Po Boys and were very happy!
