Haraz Coffee House - Livonia

Haraz is conveniently located across from Target on Plymouth Rd. I was greeted with a smile while I took in the delectable looking sweets in the display case. I choose well, because the raspberry croissant was indeed delicious! I usually drink my tea with cream and no sugar, but at the cashier's recommendation I added light sugar to Adeni tea. It was absolute perfection, and was served in a nice, weighty mug. The wall deviations tell the history of coffee, and the unique light fixtures and wall tiles make the room feel warm and welcoming. I have a new place to grade papers, and can't wait to try everything in that dessert case while I'm working.

Cool little place. Worth the drive from the Dearborn location just to not have to deal with the unbelievable lines and busyness.Amazing coffee. The people nitpicking it seem to have not tried many other coffee shops in the area. It can get far, far worse than this. Traditional and distinctive with some additional options as well. Lovers of coffee flavored coffee will find a home here. Great lattes as well. Superb and subtle flavor. Nothing obnoxiously sweet or overdone. The pastries are good too. Some definitely aren't to my liking, but the ones that appeal are worth getting for the uniqueness alone.The worst thing about this place is its location. This part of Livonia has been dead for decades and it always requires a deliberate drive to get to. Totally worth it, but it does limit the appeal of making the effort. You come here for Haraz and otherwise leave empty handed. Great backup plan for when Coffee + Cream has a packed lot and rejects your business. The pistachio coffee was not really for me. However, wow. What an absolutely incredible cinnamon roll. Probably the best and freshest cinnamon roll. I have had in this area. If I am ever craving a cinnamon roll with fresh cream cheese frosting I will have one delivered from here.

Great Turkish coffee shop with some pastries. The coffee is amazing and I've had several brews. The pastries are usually not my style. But it may be different from what I'm expecting in a pastry

Happy to have a new Yemeni coffee place nearby! They have a ton of desserts, coffee, and teas. Love the decor and the history all over the walls!

I ordered the chai latte and an almond croissant. The interior is beautiful and welcoming. I was greeted quickly and he knowledgeably answered questions I had about the chai (how sweet it is). They had a large variety of amazing looking pastries and even bags of coffee for sale. I ordered the chai latte and an almond croissant and the total for my order was $11. My chai was unlike any I've ever had and I mean that in the best way possible. The depth of flavor was amazing and while the sweetness was minimal, I found it to be just enough. Once it cooled down (I was warned it was extremely hot when I received it) I thoroughly enjoyed it. The almond croissant was just ok, it looked way more amazing the it tasted and was slightly burned. Nevertheless, I'm glad I tried it and I look forward to trying their other assorted pastries because I definitely will be back for another chai!

Tried Livonia store. Specialty middle eastern coffee and bakeries. Nice selections. Very friendly staff, who brings orders to the table. Easy parking. Spacious seating and store space. Two of us tried Haraz Latte, Pistachios Latte, Rose Milk Cake, and Turkish Pistachios cake.

Dubai Milk Cake and coffee a nice way to end the day of shopping. Nice atmosphere. Worth the stop in.

What a unique blend of spices and espresso! Never had anything like it. I went for the first time and had a great experience. Barista was friendly, place was clean and offers a relaxed vibe. Price is on the higher side; don't go here expecting $1 cup of coffee; overall very good!

Delicious coffee, says this coffee snob. Very personable service. they have delicious treats as well. The space is also lovely, so you can sit and enjoy your drink, do some studying, etc. it is a quiet place to relax. I highly recommend it!
