Handdip Dairy Barn

The BEST soft serve ice cream around in my opinion! They have a ton of flavor options for sundaes and flurries. The brownies taste like they are made fresh and the service was great. The only downfall is they are cash only and have a tiny parking lot.

Classic soft serve sort of dairy barn.Another staple of Livonia. Han D Dip is an ice cream barn open from spring through fall that serves soft serve ice cream. They offer a number of flurries, sundaes, and other fun ice cream concoctions (my favorite is their dipping options). They also offer dole whip ice cream which isn't always easy to find, but I know some are hellbent in finding it post-Disney world. This place works best on a warm/hot summer night where there are plenty of people hanging out eating their ice cream. The soft serve is not too heavy or sweet so it's always a nice respite from the heat. Also I don't feel guilty eating it. So in sum- a friendly family business in Livonia that serves tasty soft serve that does not make you feel guilty. You know?

When the name of the business is Handdip..you would expect they had ice cream to hand dip. Nope! All soft serve!

Nothing better than some classic ice cream on a warm summer night! Dairy barn offers the classics and some interesting flavors as well. Pros: affordable, lots of options, friendly workers Cons: line was moving a little slow but I understand that it can get a little busy sometime It's not my favorite ice cream spot in the area but it'll definitely satisfy your ice cream sweet tooth!

We went it was very hot day. They were busy but got orders out quickly. Lots of items on menu to choose from. Kids will definitely find something that works. My son wanted blue dipped ice cream. That's what he got. He was shocked when he saw it. Of course with my kids all cones work better tipped in a bowl for them to eat. Everyone loved their choice on the hot day to cool our mouths off. They have a handful of tables to sit at outside.

Overrated,overpriced.Low quality ice cream and toppings .The employees are young,as in not even 16 yrs old young,you have to wait a very long time to get a subpar icecream w watery hot fudge.

This is a place to please the whole family... at least my whole family. My husband loves soft serve so, he gets hits chocolate soft serve in a cone with sprinkles... large! I get my grape slushy with icecream mixed in, my daughter gets a "blizzard" of some kind, and my son loves the tiger treat or whatever it is. The prices are good, the service is friendly, the treats are yummy and best yet, it's local.

Wonderful neighborhood gathering place. Great variety and love that they have Dole whip! Worth trying for sure!

The sign said cash only but I asked if they could Venmo and they said yes! Extremely big portion sizes for the cream puff. The girls and manager working there was very personable. They also have some dairy free options and a variety of desserts. Cute little stand!

CASH ONLY Cute community staple. The only downside is the long lines, but it's worth it to support such a cute business.
