Only a handful of Detroit Ham Kings remain all took over from the Polish, Hungarian n Greeks roasting 30 pound Hams then sliced thrown on the flattop to heat the deliciousness. Now all Albanian owners most are related. This place be related to the famous Loui's who had 3 locations Downriver. The owner Nick has a great story and own several other eating spots. Ham baby Ham what it's all about, this classic Detroit city dive nothing fancy just plain really great Ham sliced off the big ass Ham bone, get Ham n Eggs, Ham n cheese Omelet, Ham n Bean Soup or me favorite a Double Damn Ham sandwich on a toasted Onion roll, place packs them in everyday for that Famous HAM. Thanks Pam for the great service and conversation place show that be in business 30 years could be much longer. One large horseshoe counter with a dozen plus stools and 3 booths was a full house at lunch hour. Opening each day 7am till 3pm perfect for breakfast or lunch. Had a Piggy Salad loaded with Ham n Bacon great name. A must visit for you old school thick cut Dearborn Ham Lover's. Awesome food during an unexpected visit. I gave this place a chance and I was not disappointed! I ordered the breakfast special and was surprised how much food I received for the price. For less than 10 dollars you receive eggs, beacon, ham, sausage and choice of pancakes/grits/hash browns. Excellent service and you feel right at home here. No bells and whistles...just good food. I can only speak for breakfast but given the quality of food I can only imagine lunch/dinner quality.

When I tell y'all we come here very often. This is literally the best breakfast spot I've ever been to. Food is fresh. Service is great. I definitely recommend. It's an old school chill spot so if you're looking for something fancy this isn't the place. But if you want some great breakfast check them out. We always smash everything on the plate. Lol
