Gus' Snug

This Irish bar/restaurant is absolutely the cleanest drinking/eating facility that I've ever been to. It has become my favorite place to go lately. And, the food is excellent. The bartenders are friendly and accommodating. Their prices are very reasonable. The 14 mi/Main St. location is a tough area for bars and restaurants with a steady turnover. I believe that Gus's Snug is a tribute to the food and drink industry with it's very high standards and will be at their location for many years to come.Great job Dimitri and staff!Respectfully, Mark Reynolds

Went with fish-chips dinner $16 2 not so big pieces of fish & about pound and half of fries. Came with small side of coleslaw. Food tasted fine. Service good. Small black &tan $7.50 small harp draft $6.50. Didn't think was totally a$55 lunch .

Service was fine on a crowded Sunday dinner service. This was the second time I'd been and I didn't enjoy my food (shepherd's pie, salad) either time.

What a fabulous Sunday lunch! Our fantastic bartender Mikayla recommended the BLT special and it was outstanding! My husband had the Irish stew and thought it was delicious. We were fortunate enough to have a gift card that we didn't use all of so we will definitely be back.... Even without the gift card.

Food is tops. Sheppards Pie is great. I Haven't had anything I haven't like. Beer is cold and fresh. Very nice whiskey list. Outside area is nice, service is quick and ambiance is intimate, but a big tv place except bar area.

Live music on Sunday nights, nice waiter Natalie & friendly atmosphere to unwind & pick up a pint or two with friends & family. Dave the manager is very friendly & you can enjoy the lovely patio. They have leek & vegetable barley & especially nice French onion. Extensive menu especially for a pub & I'm a pub aficionado! Excellent atmosphere fostered by attentive service & good food, & live Celtic music & plenty of parking, handicapped also at front door.

This has been on our list to try for awhile. My primary take away is that Gus' Snug is a great destination for a beer and some live music but I would not recommend it for its food. To start we had the mozzarella sticks. The marinara was served cold and the sticks tasted like frozen mozzarella sticks that you air fry. The fish was greasy and lacked the desired crunch you expect from fish and chips. It was served on top of the fries which made them greasy too. The Wagyu burger didn't taste like Wagyu. Overall the ambiance is good, we'd return for a beer but unlikely to consider this spot for food in the future.

Best burgers in clawson hands down. Service is great and everyone is so nice. Vibes at 10/10

I enjoyed it. Sat at the bar, had a guiness, some Spinach Artichoke dip and an order of Fish and Chips.Food was good, not amazing, but good. Ambiance and service were good (although sitting at the bar makes service easier).Fair pricing, and nice people. Definitely recommend if in the area and looking for a pub.

Went there today with my brother and sat at the bar. The bar stools were very uncomfortable to start. The bartender/waitress was very nice and personable. Ordered the bar burger and fries. The burger was excellent. Delicious and juicy. The fries though were terrible. Soggy and tasteless. I could have made better from my freezer. So would I go back? Yes with 2 changes. First to sit at a table and two don't order the fries
