This was my first time trying Guido's Pizza, and it is most likely my last time as well. My order:- Da Boss (large pizza with chicken, broccoli, mushroom, black olives, and onion)- Jalapeño Popper Bread (no bacon)- "Motz" BreadThe pizza's flavor was hidden. Their toppings are cut and chopped so small that the flavor just does not hit at all. Another disappointing factor was the pizza's warm temperature. It was like it sat out for a while after baking then finally pushed for delivery after that time passed. Both breads were also warm at best. Another disappointing factor came with the Jalapeño Popper Bread. Why? It was a major disappointment because the quality of jalapeño did not match what Guido's website shows. Their website shows the bread with whole jalapeño slices, and the bread looked stacked. What I received had jalapeños, but they were tiny, fine, diced pieces. The website is deceiving.Guido's Pizza needs to do a better job with their quality of toppings and their food temperature control.

During this crazy pandemic we tend to give into our pizza cravings once in awhile. We placed an order for delivery 2 baby pizzas and an order of the motz bread. Everything tasted great! Not sure why we waited so long to give this place a try but will be back for sure!

Came across Guido's by chance when perusing Yelp. I noticed the good reviews and that it was across the street from where I pick up my groceries at Kroger every weekend. Upon seeing they had Detroit deep dish, Chicago-style deep dish *and* thin crust, I knew we had to give it a try. I am always on the lookout for places which have good thin crust pizza like what I could get back in my hometown of Chicago.And I am so glad we tried Guido's, because they did not disappoint! Everything exceeded my expectations.We ordered the Detroit deep dish with pepperoni and sausage, a thin crust with pepperoni, sausage, bacon and extra cheese and a Chicago-style deep dish Da Boss with pepperoni, sausage, bacon, onion and green pepper. And we also ordered the stromboli as it looked so good in all the pictures.Everything was simply outstanding. Great quality ingredients from the sauce to the cheese to the toppings to the crust. And the thin crust was as close as I have found in SE Michigan to the great Chicago thin crust I miss from my hometown neighborhood. Guido's cooks even cut the thin crust in the Chicago-style square cut as I asked if they could do. And the stromboli with pizza sauce for dipping... excellent!And the staff was friendly and kind, the store clean and the prices good. And ordering everything from the website was really convenient and easy.Just an overall great experience with Guido's. I am so glad for the serendipity of discovering this place and we will definitely be regular customers in the future.

We ordered the Guido's large pepperoni pizza with Guido bread and they were SO DELICIOUS!!! Not overdone and not underdone, just perfect and the flavors were great! Great Customer service, as well!

I took a chance! Pass too many other pizza places to go here. I got suckered by Facebook post and reviews. Cheese oozing off the pizza. Everyone raving how good it is. So I went. Not worth the trip. Deep dish?? Overload of cheese???? Look at the pics.... You tell me.

Really disappointed to see the negative reviews. In my opinion Da Boss is the best pizza in the state of Michigan. In my life I have had many different pizzas in the Detroit area and Da Boss is the best. The name says it all. I now live in the Chicago area and have tried all of the great Chicago deep dish pizzas and in my opinion Da Boss is the closest I have tried to a Chicago deep dish pizza. Sort of a cross between Buddy's Pizza and Lou Malnati's in Chicagoland. We order it every time I am in the Detroit area. I can't recommend it enough.

Definitely gone downhill. Was a customer when they 1st opened their doors. Pizza was cold when delivered. I've had better looking frozen pizza. I am confused at how they cut their slices. We ordered a large square and a slice is the width of a breadstick. Also, their jalapeño popper bread has almost doubled in price in the last 2 years.

I hadnt been to Guidos in several years. I used to love Guidos when they were new. I am learning a lot of food businesses start off great and then fall short over the years. I wonder why. Thought I'd try it today. Yuck! Still over priced. The pizza had a very thin, mushy bottom crust. The crust around the outer edges wasnt the same thickness all the way around. Most of the perimeter didnt even have a crust edge. Didn't heat up well either and I even used my oven. $20 I won't ever get back. Very disappointed. I will stick with my current pizza favorites.
