Greene's Hamburgers

Straight outa the 1950s. Reminiscent of the time when you could find a porcelain hamburger heaven on every other corner in the city. THE BEST sliders in metro Detroit. Period.

I realized, while updating some things on my Yelp! account, that I had checked in here, written notes, posted photos and then didn't push the review out. Oops! Fortunately, I still have my draft notes and I can see that others posted more recent feedback that backs up my notes.Overall, this is a solid, good burger place. When I came here, I ordered some burger sliders and fries. The fries were crinkle cut and were overdone. When I asked to have them adjusted, they just cranked out some new good ones without hesitation. Loved that! Of course, I love straight cut fries like at Five Guys better, but these were very good after they fixed them.The burgers themselves were generous in their meat portion. I noted that when you go for a double or larger burger here, they just put more meat in the patty rather than giving you multiple patties. I think this makes sense and I believe it gives one a more juicy piece of meat rather than two drier ones. No heavy filler or other stuff - just really meaty. Nice!I really like the updated burger joint decor - old school but with a Bauhaus look as you can see in my night photo. Cool!Overall, I really like this place but can't quite give it a five (5) because although I would eat here again if in the neighborhood, it is not quite my favorite in the region (that would be Detroit Burger Bar). Still, very good - a 4.5 perhaps, especially considering service level. It's on my keep list.

I was craving a cheeseburger, crinkle fries, and drinking a Coca Cola. Yes, I enjoyed my time dining in. The ladies were very Nice and hardworking. The place is a Classic diner setting. Be patient and you will get a smile by saying,"Thank you." I will bring my sisterʻs family here to eat.

So I'm a fan of old fashioned hamburger places like Tel-way and Hunter House. Swung by here after a happy hour and ordered a cheeseburger and chili cheese fries. They "warned" me that the chili comes with beans but honestly it really added to the flavor and made me feel like I was getting a bit of nutrition. Best enjoyed fresh, bun felt warm and steamy but the pickles and cold parts still stayed crisp. Service was friendly and the food was prepared quickly.This is the kind of food that's not meant for Instagram, tastes really good instead of trying to be photogenic. Surprised this place doesn't get more hype but definitely a great option if you're in the area.

Best burgers I've ever had, when I travel from my home in Florida I have to get back to my Michigan roots and get a Greens burger. Best sliders around!

Most amazing sliders in the Southfield area. Workers are always very friendly and fast with your orders.

This is by far the best Smash burger place around. I'm from Canada and found this hidden gem years ago. They use to be open till 2am maybe later on weekends but now they close at 10. Went in at 930 and they took our order and made our food. 2 double cheese, fries, onion rings. It was quick and tasted great. Will be back next time I'm in town.

Very dirty...I don't know how this place is still running. Staff is always rude and just nasty. Very sad to see one of our fave spots ruined by nasty dirty staff
