Green Cedar

This a takeout place they do have seating but it's about 4 tables and very small but clean. The guys working there are always pleasant and friendly. The food is amazing. The fried Kibbie is better than any place even from any of the places in Dearborn. They are crispy outside and has a lot of meat on the inside. The shawarma sandwiches are so good. The sujuk sandwich is good with the garlic. The deboned chicken dinner is very flavorful. Hummus is silky smooth and tasty. The kebab dinner or sandwich is great. There pickles and pickled turnips have the right bite to them and pickling flavor.

Small location but big on flavor. The chicken is not too dry or greasy like another local place. The chicken has great flavor. I personally had the sujuk sandwich which hit the spot for spice. Very good! Prices are very reasonable. They do get a lot of carry out business and are very busy but that doesn't keep them from providing you good service. The gentleman taking orders was very calm and pleasant even though you could tell he was very busy. We will be back!!

The food was decent, but the service not so much. I ordered a chicken shawarma wrap, fries, and a medium hummus. I knew the guy at the counter heard my hummus order because he told the guy in the kitchen to make a medium hummus but not to include radishes. I'm unsure if radishes are only for large orders of hummus, but the comment was weird. It turned out I wasn't charged for the hummus, nor was it included in my takeout order. If the clerk accidentally didn't include it in my initial charge, he should have told me rather than not include it at all.Another thing I was disappointed about was that the lunch special wasn't well advertised. After I put in my order, I saw on the back of the takeout menu that I could have ordered a chicken shawarma wrap, fries, drink, and a side for a few dollars less during lunch hours. The guy at the counter never mentioned it, which I think is dishonest. If there was a sign about the lunch special, it would probably increase the amount of customers at the restaurant. Why hide a good deal? The fries were delicious, hot, and crispy. The chicken shawarma was also tasty, with tender grilled chicken, pickles, and garlic sauce. No complaints about the food.Green Cedar is a decent place for Middle Eastern food, but make sure to check your receipt and your takeout order for missing items, and know that there is a lunch special rather than ordering separate items for more money when you can order a combo.

This place is a hidden gem for real!!! One of the best Arabic sandwiches around and let's not forget the salads

The food was excellent. The people extremely friendly. My 6 year old daughter told the cook we are big Fans and got a hug.

It's always a good sign when you see a place very busy like green cedar! I ordered a fattoush salad with chicken and the chicken was amazing. However, the salad seemed like it came from a pre-made bag. After reading reviews I also ordered the hummus and I'm glad I did, it was some of the best I've ever had. I'll definitely be back to try more food from the menu

Outstanding quality food with super generous portions. Every item we had was fresh, well-seasoned, and served with such care. Personal faves were the tender and smoky shish kofta, falafel, and herbaceous fattoush. My partner raved about the stuffed grape leaves and the baba ganoush. Dine-in space is limited to 2-tops, and the ambience is warm and welcoming.

One of the best Mediterranean places in the area, without a doubt. I ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich and fattoush salad for carryout which were both excellent. The foot was prepared quickly and the price was on-par with similar places in the area.There's definitely a reason this place has stellar reviews. I'll definitely be back!

What a pleasant surprise. Drove by and decided to give this place visit. Glad I did. The chicken shawarma wrap is out of this world good - depending on who makes it. It's always good but sometimes great. Thus the 4 stars vs 5.The hummus and Yasmine flat bread are also very good. Prices are very reasonable. Parking is easy.

Taboulli had no cucumber. Average at best. Bread was cold. Chicken shawarma was amazing
