We come here fairly often for breakfast of late, and the omelettes are pretty tasty. They also do a great job with poached eggs. We love crisp bacon, and while theirs is a bit greasier and thinner cut than we like, it's certainly passable. They could get a better coffee, too. I also find their hash browns too greasy, but my husband likes them. I've tried their spinach pie more than once and it is way too salty. Today the phyllo on top was burnt, and the pie didn't look fresh. Usually the sandwiches are decent, the salads generous and fresh, but the entrees often lack flavor.This would be a 3 star in my book except for the service. We've found the staff to be friendly and very efficient. The tables are cleaned off quickly, glasses and coffee cups are filled pretty fast. Prices are reasonable, though like everywhere they have gone up from a few years ago. We will be back.

It's now called Tommy's Diner. The lack of experience in the waitresses is disturbing. One of waitress said she can't handle our table of 7. Three were kids! Then they took the orders of people that came in after us. And of course they got their food first. Waitresses are nowhere to be found. The food is really good! Once it arrives. The over medium eggs were perfectly cooked! So here's the thing, the staff must be short today.

After a few more visits and meals under our belt (no pun intended) I'm boosting my review up to a definite 5 stars. To put it plain and simple, it's just a nice and clean family owned restaurant with consistently good food, good service and good prices. There's plenty of seating with booths along the walls and tables in the middle of the restaurant for larger groups. If you prefer not to be so spread out at a table, a couple of the booths are corner booths that hold 4-5 people. Today my mom and I both had a mushroom Swiss omelette and it was outstanding. The first thing I noticed, was the abundance of sautéed mushrooms, mixed in with the melted Swiss cheese. I'd highly recommend it if you are debating whether to give it a try. It was definitely a treat for the tastebuds. The hash browns were cooked just right and the rye toast was perfect. We both had a couple cups of coffee with our meal. By the time we were finished, we were stuffed. Give this place a try and I'm sure you'll find just the right 'home cooked' meal to satisfy your hunger.

Good luck trying to get served. Went on October 13, 2024, waiting five minutes t get served, not one waitress came over to see us. The table was dirty. at one point there was no waitresses on the floor. What a joke.

I liked the garlic dip. Dolma was ok, I did not care for the grape leaves. We got carry out and the order was correct. I with they would put the garlic sauce and pita bread in a bag together. The food was hot and fresh. I am sure the inside of the restaurant is nice.

Portions were adequate (and enough for the next day). It was the best spinach pie in a very long time. Fresh and the phyllo dough not hard and crusty. They only have one vegetable option which is green beans. They didn't have the green beans and substituted an extra portion of rice. I would have much preferred a half portion of rice and either a coleslaw or small house salad. The cup of lemon rice soup was good. It is definitely better than many other places I've gone to.

I'm not sure I will return to this place again. It seems to have just turned into a carry-out-only venue. I sat all alone eating my dinner for almost an hour, and the only people that came in were for carry-out. Made me wonder what was going on. Service was OK, but I have had better in the past. .. I did notice that my order of the Gyro Platter was missing the green beans, plus they skimped on the meat. I mentioned the missing green beans, and the cashier said something about being out of them and was not sure if they would be getting any in soon. That missing item sure did not show up in any kind of reduction of the price of $14 for the Gyro Platter.

So I had carry out that I did not call ahead for. The wait wasn't long, place was rather empty but seems they do a heck of a carry out business. I had a gyro and stuffed pepper soup. The soup was holy hell good, ridiculous. The gyro was standard quality and was not disappointing, seemed rather thick. Long story longer, I will be back. One side note, do not trust their website, they can be closed when the site says open.

So far so good. Wanted a quick bite to eat, was getting pretty sick of all the fast food restaurants, so I called in a quick order & picked it up.The lady that answered the phone was friendly, I'm assuming it was the same lady who rang me up. Everyone was wearing masks, which is good to see. I was a little hungry, and may have been a little short when I asked for extra sauce, which they wanted an additional 50 cents for, I'm glad I didn't as the pita came with plenty of sauce. The pita bread was super soft, lightly toasted. The gyro meat if I had to guess came in pre cooked as opposed to being sliced off of one of those vertical broilers. Reheated beautifully non the less, crispy, but still juicy. Large sliced white onions, I prefer red & a little thinner sliced, just so I don't get sauce slapped all over my face while I struggle to get the onion bit clean off. The tzatziki sauce was good, not so good you wanna go back in and order some fries so you don't waste any of the sauce at the bottom of the carryout container good, but good.If craving a gyro again while in the area, I would certainly consider ordering here again, maybe add a cup of that chicken lemon rice or beef barley soup they were advertising on the dry erase menu board.

Wow ! Everything thing was excellent- including the service! Very clean and bright on the inside. Shared a gyro, spinach pie and a side of rice. Large portions. Side sauce was good also .
