I'm particular when it comes to Americanized Chinese cuisine. My bar is a tucked-away, carryout-only spot in Detroit called Panda. When I try new Chinese restaurants, I compare them against my childhood favorite.Great Wall produces dishes that are in a similar vein as Panda. Almond chicken that has a significant breading that is both crispy and tasty. General Tsos that is not just sweet-and-sour chicken with a few pepper flakes, but a unique sauce that brings a delightful flavor as well as a respectable heat.I could go on, but I just want to give my vote of confidence. Mind you, my favorite in the Plymouth-Canton area is Ten Yen, but when they are closed or just closer, Great Wall is an easy choice.

Admittedly I came to get dessert at Peach Cobbler Factory next door, but when I saw this sign I started getting a craving for Chinese food. It's been many years since I've had almond boneless chicken and I wanted some on this day. The lady at the front counter was courteous and got my order made within 10 minutes. When I finally opened it at home I was pleased by the way the food looked. The color of the chicken was perfect and the batter was nice and crunchy. Anybody who's had almond boneless chicken knows that it comes with a side of this gravy like sauce. Now as far as my experience goes I wasn't thrilled by some of the flavors. While the chicken was good It didn't taste well seasoned, and the sauce itself was kind of bland. I did like the spring roll that was my second favorite thing overall, because the rice itself was very underwhelming. I feel like a good Chinese restaurant is defined by its fried rice and this was some of the most boring and uninspired fried rice I've ever had. I'm sure adding some kind of protein to it would have helped, but I don't think it would have elevated it that much more. At the end of the day there are much better Chinese takeout options, but this place is okay if you need a quick fix.

LOVE THEY SWEET AND SOUR CHICKEN TASTES LIKE NO OTHER CHINESE FOOD PLACE. I don't eat at any other Chinese food place unless I'm getting brown rice which unfortunately they don't have but I am willing to drive the 30+ mins for this because I don't know if the one closer to me will be the same:(Service is always goodAmbiance (vibe) chill average

We've been trying all different kinds of restaurants and this was our first visit here. They offer carryout only, it was seamless and spot on. Order was ready on time, with no missing items. Ordered :General Tso's chicken and Chicken Lo Mein Everything was hot and prompt service. The food had good portions and well packed. The prices were pretty average. The food is nothing to brag about but is definitely wholesome and filling. Decent place for quick carryout.

I ordered delivery from Grubhub. The food was delish. I got the small wonton soup and what made me happy was the wontons were substantial and DELISH! Fried rice was tasty, shrimp with lobster sauce was good, and I also liked the egg rolls. Admittedly, I was hungry but this place did not disappoint. Will definitely order from them again.I'm surprised their Yelp rating isn't higher?

I inadvertently ordered from here again today after my husband said it was recommended by a coworker. Upgraded my rating to 3 stars. The lo mien was excellent. The noodles were thicker than I'm used to at other places, but I really liked them much better. My husband was also satisfied with his General Taos chicken. I will say the portion size is a bit small for the price, but I would definitely get the lo mien again.

I get chicken fried rice and General Tso's chicken from here like 20 times a year because it is so good. They always have my food ready fast and are very punctual. You get a large amount for the price you pay and they pack the rice in as much as possible. Would recommend them to anyone whole likes the dishes I mentioned and wonton soup and beef lo mein. 10/10

Very mediocre food. My take out Lo-mein and hot sour soup both had a mild 'eggy smell'. Also I got an egg shell in the soup. Seems they are taking shortcuts in preparing the food. Not careful enough. Not going again.

I've been going to Great Wall for quite some time it's always been family owned. They give good service and I've always enjoyed the food. Of course over the years it has changed hands within the family. This has slightly changed, the food but not that much.

I ordered chow mein with extra beef for takeout. The experience was convenient but lacking in quality. Portion sizes are fair for the price, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quantity of beef I got. However, the noodles were bland and the onions were undercooked. The beef was adequate, tender if a bit lackluster. The meal was enough to hit my protein goal for the day, but not much more. Next time I want chow mein, I'll either make it myself or go to a chain like Panda Express. Based on other reviews and my own experience, here's my advice to management. Hone in on quality control. My order would have been good enough for a return visit if the noodles and onions weren't undercooked. It's unacceptable, even once.
