Great Harvest Bread

Service was quick and friendly. The breakfast sandwich was decent but I got it on croissant bread and I expected better bread from a bakery. It was a little dry. The eggs were cooked well and the bacon was crispy though.

Absolutely amazingly friendly staff and delicious food! I have only had sandwiches here and recently got the buffalo turkey--it hit the spot! Perfectly grilled bread with a generous amount of meat & spiciness I was looking for!Definitely highly recommend!

I have been a long time shopper of the Great Harvest in West Bloomfield but this was the first time at having visited the Brighton store. Fresh bread is hard to beat and this chain/location does makes a variety of baked fresh breads and desserts that are just so darn good. Aside from the product itself, the key aspect I like about this business are the free samples they give out to help you make up your mind on which bread/dessert to choose from. Along these lines, this business does not skimp on these samples (gave me a whole slice of fresh baked bread as a sample along with smaller samples of other products) which is definately a differentiator between this company and similar businesses. On this particular trip I got a loaf of their Irish Soda bread and some Bear Claw pastries. Both were very very good. Relative to the Irish Soda bread this was the first time I had ever tried this bread and the wife who was running the counter called her husband over to explain the ingredients and how the bread is made. As they were fairly busy while this was going on, I truly appreciated the husband spending these few minutes with me and explaining the concept of this bread and how it is made, all done with a smile and very pleasant demeanor. Truly first rate customer service to go along with a great product where I will definately be returning in the very near future! Five stars in my book!

I know that eating out is quite different now, especially during the shut down, but this was such a great experience. First and foremost, the only reason I decided to try this place was because I saw a Facebook Post about a vegetarian sandwich that they have. The photo looked AMAZING and I was like OMG I have to try it. I went to their website which was very mobile phone friendly and I was able to order online, with absolutely no problems. I ordered the vegetarian red pepper sandwich and a pumpkin chocolate chip muffin. They said it would be done in 15 min. I pulled my car over right in front of the store and called to let them know that I had arrived. They walked my order right out to my car. Easy breezy. I brought my food home, put it on a plate, and literally devoured it. The sandwich was the perfect size with the perfect potion of ingredients, but the muffin is what really surprised me. I firmly believe that all pumpkin muffins (and breads) should come with chocolate in them after tasting this!! It was sooooooo good. I do wish they had more vegetarian sandwiches to choose from but until they expand their menu, I will stick with this exact order because I was not disappointed in any way. Give them a try! It's easy order, easy to pick up and delicious to eat!!!

Today I delivered a "thank you" box from GHB to a friend. While visiting, my friend opened the box and we tried the cinnamon loaf. OMG! We could have eaten the entire loaf in one sitting. Wish I could have tried everything in the box. GHB will be my go to for gift boxes...always. I should also mention, I grabbed a sandwich while waiting, which was also amazing. I would highly recommend the Baja Turkey and Avocado Sandwich. Yum

Sited to frequent the NORTHVILLE location..My daughters absolutely loved watching them make bread.. the cinnamon and cheese bread was to die for!!!

Purchased the cinnamon chip on Friday but didn't cut into it until Sunday morning. Boy, was it dry! Fresh bread should not be this dry so soon. I thought maybe it was dry because it was an end piece but I cut the loaf in half and same thing. it was just as dry. It was hard to eat.

Awesome sweets and always fresh bread! Staff is always happy to see you and loves to be accommodating without jeopardizing the quality of service and product!

I work in Brighton and this is one of my favorite lunch spots (Paul is great). There's not a bad thing on the menu but the best are the chocolate chip cookies. They are my weakness. I could eat one at every meal. Don't forget to have a cup of coffee with it! They will also ship products: they are my go-to gift when sending a get well package and the recipients always rave over it. I don't regularly buy their fresh bread because I prefer mine crustier than Great Harvest makes it but I think that a lot of people like a doughier bread. I like their sandwiches on it but just not enough to have a whole loaf at home. Staff always seems really happy to be working their and I love that they are so generous with their samples.

Great Harvest in Brighton, MI is my favorite downtown business!The owners are so welcoming and the service from the staff is top notch.My Sister and I meet here often on the weekends and enjoy a tasty baked good with some coffee, we also have been checking out the sandwiches and they are delicious as well :)I love supporting my local small businesses and this is my favorite!Polly G.
