Great China Garden

I enjoyed the general tso chicken meal! I ordered it, it was ready when I got there, the lady at the front counter was very nice, I returned home, and was not disappointed. The sweet and sour chicken was okay. But for both meals, I will say if you don't eat within 24 hours, it doesn't taste as good.

I wish I could give it 3.5 stars, as it wasn't bad, but I wouldn't go out of my way again to eat here. We joined family for dinner one Sunday evening. Our family members come here often and really enjoy it. We were not too impressed with the food. We ordered the appetizer platter for 2 and Szechuan Chicken dinner. The appetizer platter had scallion pancakes, 2 chicken wings, 2 crab Rangoon, 2 fried shrimp, and 2 spring rolls. I enjoyed the spring roll and scallion pancakes. The crab Rangoon and chicken wings and shrimp weren't anything special. The Szechuan Chicken tasted sweet and not very spicy for Medium. My boyfriend said the sauce tasted like a packaged grocery store sauce. The veggies were nice and fresh in it, though. The egg roll and fried rice were just average. Wonton soup was bland. Our family seemed to enjoy their almond chicken and sweet and sour chicken. We did taste the almond chicken, and it was good. Maybe we just ordered wrong. The owner was very nice and she was working alone, serving on this Sunday. It was a nice restaurant with high ceilings and festive in decoration. They do private parties, I read.

Placed a takeout order online, everything was really good and the lady who assisted me upon my arrival was very nice and sweet. We got lemon chicken, chicken egg foo young, the crab Rangoon's and egg drop soup. Yummy

I've been here twice. I kept hearing how good their food was, so I decided to go. The 1st time I went, the food was fresh, but it wasn't very tasty to me. The 2nd time, I ordered something different, and the chicken was definitely old, not fresh at all, and not much flavor. This place is crowded a lot, it's just not for me.

My husband and I tried this restaurant out recently we will not go back to where we used to go. Food is very good they're prompt polite and they never get anything wrong. We always get carry out we've never eaten inside. I'm going to show you my leftovers because I dug in before I started reviewing. It's kung po chicken...yum.

You might want to take your sign down that says open 7 days a week. You just lost two customers before we even got to try the food.

It's listed for 2 and just right for sharing a must add to yo order. We started with Wonton and Hot Sourdough Soups spot on. I had Yu Shiang Chicken medium heat only $7.95 WOWED. She had Chicken and Broccoli $7.75 what a mega deal . The dinner prices are very low also, so glad we found this place. The owner waited on us really funny and friendly . Super clean beautiful mega dining room and a banquet room for large parties. Amazing food!!! I got the walnut shrimp and it was delicious. There were so many great vegetarian/pescatarian options. I would highly recommend!

This is our go to Chinese restaurant. It's just a few blocks from where we live so it's not only convenient, the food has never disappointed! Love the green onion pancakes, cashew chicken and hubby loves the sweet and sour chicken. You can't beat the lunch prices with large portions. Definitely recommend trying if you haven't.

The food is fantastic, the dine-in experience was less than mediocre. We were not given extra napkins, we never got a refill on our water, and had to get up to get our own take out containers. Even though the service was poor, I still left a tip on the table. When we paid the bill with a credit card, zero for the tip, she looked at us and asked, "so the tip is on the table?" A tip is earned, not a donation. My tip now is that you need to work in such a way that you actually deserve to be tipped.
