Grand Dad’s Bar

Brittani our server was phenomenal. She gave us the scoop on the menu. She hustled, was busy, smiled and was spot on with her service. The drinks and " bar food" are a cut above most. The outside patio was sunny and welcomed dogs. The inside was dark, cool, clean and gave neighborhood vibes. What a gem!

Might be a good bar just for drinks but not food. I ordered the chicken tenders after a friend told me they were the best. They were wrong. I told them to go to captains if they want chicken tenders. Very thick batter with very little meat. Server was not friendly.

This is typical bar food done right. Drinks were good the prices were affordable. The mushroom fingers are to die for. Good service, nice bar.

The menu is pretty small and is all fried bar food so if you're looking for healthy options to eat, this is not the place. There's a nice crowd at night for drinks and they have a patio that allows dogs.

This bar is pretty cool, it isn't too expensive, the drinks are about average price and so is the food. It's a little dark in there but I don't mind that type of vibe. The service was decent the server had all the table in the bar and on the patio, but she did her best with those many tables. I would definitely go back. The food tasted like average bar food accept for the Nashville hot chicken sandwich that was amazing so delicious lol but check it out if ever in the area

The first time I walked into grand dad's, it was to check out the rumored amazing chicken sandwich. It's since become my #1 hangout spot for aforementioned chicken sandwiches, burgers, friend mushrooms, giant pretzels, solid beer options, and quality and creative cocktails. The staff here runs like a well oiled machine. Both behind the bar and on the floor, service happens quickly, accurately, if without frills. Every weekend, this place is packed, and in Wyandotte, where bars are a dime a dozen, this speaks volumes about the vibe and service. Whether you're ordering 20 picklebacks, a craft beer, or the craft cocktail of the week, you're gonna get a good drink. Bonus: pet friendly patio and DJ spinning vinyl outside in summer nights.

appetizer enough for a meal fantastic was the pretzel and cheese. My husband daughter and I stopped in here first time will not be the last.Had an 80's five music was great didn't bother me like it usually does in a restaurant or bar. Service was five star and the reason will probably go back there again.

Have been here a few times now and have always had great service. Indoor and outdoor seating available with a really nice covered patio. My most recent visit I finally ordered some food (waffo fries, hot chicken sandwich, and cheeseburger). My friend and I split the food and it was exactly the type of bar food we were hoping for. I preferred the burger over the chicken sandwich, but both were tasty! Loved the loaded waffle fries.

I popped into this cool little bar for a beer and lunch after a sweaty workout. Everyone was very friendly. I had the Cheboygan Honey Blood orange beer and the double smash burger with fries. Everything was delicious! I'm definitely going to be back!

Stopped here after reading yelp reviews and we were in town and in the area. Burgers cooked to perfection. Toasted bun. Great beef. Pony sauce on burger was very good. Golden fries with garlic aoli just delicious. Great drinks. Music playing at an above average level. TVs with games going. Great vibe. Our waitress was so kind, attentive and welcoming. Would def go back and would recommend.
