We had mixed experience--fantastic food but service that fell far short of expectations. In the restaurant industry, exceptional service is just as important as great cuisine, especially in such a competitive category like Mexican dining. Poor communication and inattentiveness can significantly diminish an otherwise enjoyable experience.Here's some constructive feedback that might help the owners improve:Staff Training: Ensure team members have basic language skills or implement tools like translated menus to bridge communication gaps and better serve all customers.Guest Attention: Emphasize the importance of attentiveness--checking in with guests, refilling drinks, and ensuring orders are accurate. A restaurant with food this good should never lose customers over a lack of understanding or engagement.In short, the food is great, but the service needs a serious upgrade. With improved communication and guest care, this place could thrive.

Very friendly staff and good food. We had: fish tacos and asada tacos with rice and beans. They were great, but the chips were a little off. Very thin and did not taste like corn chips. Other than that, everything was great. I'll definitely be back.

This restaurant just opened a few weeks ago. It still does not have its liquor license, which should be coming in a few weeks so I cannot judge any of the cocktails. My family was trying to find a place to go to for taco Tuesday so we gave this restaurant a try. The server was very attentive and quickly brought us whatever we asked for. Unfortunately, the service was the highlight of our experience.Overall, I would say that the food was very bland. We got chips and salsa and the salsa tasted like watery tomato sauce with no spices added. I asked for a sauce with a little bit more flavor and they brought me out their hot sauce, but it was ironically not that flavorful. This restaurant caters to those with very mild flavor pallettes. The food did not feel like authentic Mexican to me. I ordered taquitos that looks like folded over tacos and were much thicker than taquitos that I typically order. The most telling issue was that my kids thought the food was bland. I ordered a chicken tortilla soup, which was not bad and the portion was huge. However, they didn't have proper to-go containers to take it home. They gave me a Styrofoam cup with a straw lid and it was impossible to pour the huge bowl into the small cup at the table. After a failed attempt to put the soup in the cup, I left the soup there.I imagine they are still working through the kinks and figuring out the flow of a new restaurant. Therefore, I'm willing to try this again in a few weeks once they are a bit more established. On a positive note, the decor was pretty and the layout was well done. We will give it another shot once they get their liquor license.

Food was AMAZING!!! I had the Texas Fajitas!!! Sooooo good and the portions do not disappoint!!! Service was excellent. Chips and salsa arrived before we even ordered! Margaritas were tremendous! I love this place and I'll definately be back!!!!

We were excited to try this place but had a mixed experience. Some of the food was ok, but some of it came out cold. The salsa didn't have much flavor but the cheese dip was fantastic. The service was fine but a little slow too.

We are up to five trips to this restaurant so far and I have to admit that we are underwhelmed which is a shame as we really like Mexican food and would like a great place closer to our home than our favorites which are in downtown Ann Arbor (parking ugh! and Depot-town in Ypsilanti) The food here is essentially unremarkable and bland (despite the promising pictures and descriptions in the menus) and the service leaves a lot to be desired. We've visited during busy times (a really bad idea as the quality of the service really tanks when they get busy) and slower times (when there is no excuse for poor service) and have been disappointed in the attentiveness of the servers. The manager does make the rounds to check how things are going and seems to care about the operation but the actual servers assigned to our table usually ignore us once the food has been delivered. We have even had to chase down our server a couple of times to get the check after the meal. The place is clean and newly decorated and thoughtfully divided in an effort to increase the intimacy of the dining experience but the quality of the food and service needs to be improved before I can recommend this place. Fortunately, both the food and the service can be improved with proper management attention so we will just have to see how this place develops over time.

Best Mexican food in Ann Arbor. AsA matter of fact in this county. They are super busy doing carry out orders. Ate my meal inside and the quality of the lettuce and veggies were top notch. Great flavors. Different tastes for different dishes. Huge menu. Had the combo enchiladas. Cheese was my least favorite but I'm a meat eater. Chips and salsa is great. Chips look like half a taco shell.

This review is solely for take out service as that is all I have done here, I have had no complaints other than lack of flavor with the food and my order being messed up multiple times among pickup. Not sure if it's the person taking the order just not paying attention or lack of care, but if you're taking orders you should pay attention to detail and remember what someone said so you can get it right. I've had 3 occasions in a row where my order was messed up and had to wait for them to redo it

the food was amazing, especially the chicken!! the server was incredibly kind and helpful when i was confused by the order, and the entire look and vibe of the restaurant is beautiful!!i really love what they've done with the place, i hope it keeps thriving

Service was good. Chips and salsa was perfect (not too spicy but a little bite. Very good). My combo was very bland. The beef, chicken, and rice had no taste. Would not get again. My wife loved her shrimp taco salad. I will try again. I specially to come back for the chips.
