Good Sense Coffee

Go check out this brand new coffee shop! They roast their own coffee and I'm happy to drive down to stock up!My husband and I visited during their 'soft opening'; I ordered a latte which was devine and he doesn't drink coffee at all and they were happy to make him an off-menu hot chocolate drink that was fabulous.Thank you and can't wait to see what else is added!

We were waiting for the coffee shop to reopen. We went in for a couple iced pumpkin mochas and a fruit smoothie. The fruit smoothie was very good. The iced mochas were okay, but we did not taste any pumpkin syrup. I am not sure they even put any in. When I went back to the counter to ask for a couple more pumps, they told me they sold out. I was a bit taken aback since we got it a couple seconds prior. They did offer to put other flavors in it, but we paid for that flavor. They were kind and not rude, but I wonder if there was only a couple squirts left or nothing at all? Wish they had told me they were running out and to pick something else. We may have just found a store that had enough pumpkin flavor and not purchased the coffee to begin with. My child may have opted for the smoothie like the other one. Our quest to find the best coffee in Howell continues.

We continue to mourn the loss of the Uptown Coffee Shop, because Good Sense sucks! Not only is the original character of the shop itself gone--no decorations of any kind, not even holiday ones--but the latte that I get every Sunday varies in quality each time! And, this past Sunday, I actually removed the little cardboard holder on the outside of my cup because the coffee wasn't even hot! The amazing location of the shop is the ONLY thing it has going for it . . .

Omg this is such a cute little coffee shop. My matcha is so good! The workers are super kind and I loveedddddd them:)
