Good Grounds Coffee is amazing! It's a cute little restaurant/shop that offers a variety of items. When I stopped by the first time, the staff was preparing for a wreath making class. There's even a small area for the kids to color or play.So far, I've tried the cinnamon roll, sourdough bread and rolls along with a few peppermint mocha lattes. Everything has been delicious! The staff has always been pleasant even when it's super busy. I'll be back to try more food and beverages!

Right off the bat, let me tell you that regardless of where you live, Good Grounds is worth the road trip! I've been here a handful of times and on different days but it is always busy; that is a great sign. The coffee is awesome, the bagels are excellent but my favorite is the jalapeno cheddar sourdough! And they were sweet enough to make a pumpkin pie and hold it for me and it was one of the best that I've ever had. The place looks modern and has a farmhouse feel to it. The smell is worth bottling up as well. Absolutely love it here!

Wow. Would you please open one in Rochester Hills' Brooklands corridor!?Beautiful on so many levels:Everything organic: coffee, pastries, sourdough bread, real creamer, etc. Thus, everything was delicious and delectable. Lots of natural lighting and intimate seating (about 20?); space for kids with small table, toys, and books. Service was friendly and accommodating. Loo was thoughtful and lovely. We certainly will come back.Total gem.

Wonderful pastries (always) and tasty drinks (usually!) I would say the drinks can be a hit or a miss, but overall I can trust to go to Good Grounds and enjoy a sweet latte and treat. The staff is friendly and the café is comfy and welcoming.

What a treat to find a gem of a business in a small town like Almont. A friend posted about her positive experience so we had to give it a whirl on our way to pick lavender. So glad we stopped. This is the kind of cafe where I would like to spend a leisurely morning or afternoon. Next time, I'm bringing a book. First, most of not all of their breads and pastries are made with sour dough. How cool is that? They have loaves of soft and traditional sour dough for sale as well as a whole grain bread. We bought the traditional and plan to have toast tomorrow morning for breakfast. It smells delicious. I had a cinnamon roll without glaze (thank you for this option as I prefer less sweetness) and my husband had the banana bread. We were both in heaven as we paired our sweet treats with a very smooth decaf mocha. Just because we couldn't resist, we also shared a homemade everything bagel. It was the best bagel I have ever eaten. Seriously. Soft, savory, a bit crunchy on the bottom, with a distinct sourdough tang. You don't even want to have cream cheese with this perfect bagel. The cafe was hopping on a mid-Friday morning, filled with many happy customers who made themselves comfortable and enjoyed community. The visual details are stunning. Clean, restored traditional, warm and down to earth. I enjoyed checking out their products, like the maple syrup, handpicked wild flower bouquets, and handmade soaps and creams. And that ceiling.... Just stunning. The owner was present and very engaging. He has many years of customer service under his belt and it shows. He has created an oasis for this community, a gathering place. The cafe also has outdoor seating and plenty of parking close by, though it's entrance is in the Main Street of Almont. Can't wait to return and try more treats. Next time, I'm bringing a good book and settling in.

What a cute, quaint, coffee shop in downtown Almont! I was so happy to see another local business open up and knew I had to give it a try. It's light and airy when you walk in, plenty of seating and the staff is very friendly. I ordered a spiced pumpkin latte and it was really good. They also sell fresh baked goods and sourdough bread! I bought a sourdough round and bagels. Then a piece of pumpkin loaf and a key like cookie. Everything was absolutely delicious. But the sourdough bread was SOOOO good. I had to come back and get another. So happy to see a small-town business who provides great service and products! Will definitely be back.

For the first time was able to go check out this coffee place in Almont that my daughter had heard about but we kept forgetting was there! Looking online, I noticed that they do have muffins, bagels, cinnamon rolls for a quick breakfast-I did not try any of these things but hopefully another time will get a chance to. Looks like online it was $4.00 for a muffin(?)....The owner and his wife were both present-knew it was them from their website. He was busy in back and she was up front-she was really nice and the whole atmosphere of employees seemed happy and willing to please. I tried a brown sugar latte-found it very good and my daughter got a latte with a raspberry flavor syrup. We both were impressed and willing to go back another time. I believe the flavor shot for hers was only 50cents. They have some ice cream coffee drinks on the menu that I can't wait to try. The nice woman taking the orders was able to explain what was in a few other of the drinks on the menu. Clean, spacious bathroom. An area for kids to play. Some nice window seating to watch the activity downtown. Nice little gem out in Almont Michigan!

This cute and quaint coffee shop/bakery was well worth the over hour drive from downriver. We each had a different flight of coffee and share the delicious, organic baked goods. Highly recommend everything.

Best organic coffee and baked goods in the world. This is such a cute and quaint location and worth the drive up Van Dyke, especially on a beautiful fall day. They always have seasonal drinks as well as the usual favorites. So many delicious baked goods (cinnamon rolls are a must try). Bagels and bread are always hot and fresh. My favorite is the jalapeno cheddar bagel. Lots of delicious loaf breads cinnamon, strawberry and new today was Tiramisu bread. And let's not forget their delicious scones and cookies. Everything made with sourdough and organic ingredients. On the weekends they make a delicious breakfast sandwich with farm fresh eggs. They also roast and sell their own organic coffee beans. The owners and servers are super friendly and always take the time with every customer to chat and share a story. You can tell most of their customers are regulars. It also feels great to support a local business (no Starbucks for this gal) 11/10.

Super cute interior is very cozy and comfortable- next time I will bring a book and let me son play. There are games, toys, books and it's so cute in there. You can tell the owners really took the time to curate this special space. I had a cold brew with raspberry mocha cold foam and it was out of this world. There were a large selection of muffins and sourdough products- the salt bagel is on my list for next time. A gem! Such a welcome addition to downtown Almont.
