Best Chinese restaurant in the D. I have tried other chiny restaurants but this one is on point.Good service and the have great portions for the price.

Good authentic Chinese spot. Probably the best Chinese I've had in the city. They be rude a lil bit like don't ask them for too many extras and expect them to not get tudey. Food is 10/10. They are a cash only establishment.

Ordered from here thinking it was another place. The food was so good and the way Chinese food used to be 20 years ago. I ordered the food from here through Door Dash and the food was hot and put me so back into my childhood eating at Chung's. It seems so long ago and I have been settling for Gen Z flavors not real flavors. I will order over and over again from here!

First time coming here for a take out (I honestly don't think you CAN dine in even if you want to. I could be wrong). I ordered the General Chicken (General Tso's?) lunch special with egg roll and shrimp fried rice. When I opened my tray, two things caught my attention: the sauce was RED -- and I NEVER had a General Tso's in a RED sauce -- and the broccoli ON TOP of the dish was "wilted"!!! There WERE fresh green onions on top of my rice though so that's a plus. As for the shrimp fried rice, kudos for the WHOLE shrimpS that were on there. Back to the red sauce though... when I took my first bite, it made SENSE why it's RED -- it is KETCHUP based and I can TASTE the ketchup. Verdict: for was EDIBLE but definitely NOT for me. I don't think I'll be back.

Golden Bowl Chop Suey on McNichols is probably one of the best authentic Chinese take away restaurants left in Detroit. I've been eating here for a few years and actually liked it so much that I hardly go any place else. Remember that if you order online and it is less than $10 they will charge you a dollar fifty order charge which makes no sense to me. Also if you use your credit card and it is less than $8 they will also charge you fifty cents as a fee. I am not in favor of any of these fees or service charges and I have told them when they tried to charge me. If you don't go here often you wouldn't know that so be sure you mention to them that you are not paying extra just to use your credit card because the state or your bank will not stand by that upcharge.if you are in a hurry call in your order and within 15 minutes you can pick it up steamy and delicious

Seems to be takeout only. Cheap and quick, decent food and service. We ordered a large order of broccoli & chicken, fried fish, a couple egg rolls and veggie lo mein. It came with a bit of white rice, was under $30 & ready in under 15 min. They gave us plenty of sauce. Everyone liked it fine enough, though I wouldn't recommend the veg egg rolls -would go again to feed a bunch in hurry.

We ordered Shrimp Egg Foo Young, carry out - we got home started eating the food it was burnt. I call the resturant explained the situation and I told them my husband ate his I did not eat mine. I was told I could not get a credit or refund because I did not have both patties to return. I was not planning to drive 30 minutes to return food. There Customer Service is TERRIBLE it would have cost them $10 to have a satisfied customer. Looking at their YELP reviews it is evident that this establishment does not care about its customers.

They do not care. They said they do read or care about Yelp. Food was burnt!!! I wanted green onions and I was told cost extra I paid and I only received one teaspoon I complained and told thats all I get.

I've been coming to this place since I was a kid. Starting coming back regularly over the past year. My orders are always over $100. So they forgot to give me two beef and broccolis I order on Tuesday. I called them as soon as I got home and noticed it, as I live pretty far away. They told me I would have to wait until a manager could call me back. Several hours passed and I missed the call from the manager. I called back the next day and I explained what happened and was told the manger would call me back and they never did. I made this order through there website and they didn't give me over $30 worth of food and now no one will help me. The food here is decent but not worth the poor customer service. It's a shame they can keep the money. I will never eat here again. I'm very disappointed!!!
