First time, it won't be my last. Wonderfully buttery croissant. Bread like melts in your mouth even without warming it, lol. Service was good, knowledgeable. They gave a little pastry free of charge to my kid, too. Sourdough bread they said is a bestseller. I will try that next time. Ambiance was clean, pleasant.

Give Thanks has amazing baked goods! Everyone here makes you feel super welcome. The place is always decorated very nicely as well. I really like the croissants here and they are comparative to the ones I had in Paris. The coffee is also pretty good and pairs well with their baked goods!

This place is great! I loved their ham sandwich and chicken noodle soup. Also their freshly baked bread is very tasty. And they have some GF options (bread, cookies, muffins). 5/5 recommend

Loved this place! I have never been to this bakery and my 3 year old daughter and I went after our trip to the zoo. The younger gentlemen with glasses at the register that assisted us was super helpful. I picked a chocolate croissant for my wife, my daughter picked a ganache brownie and I asked for a recommendation. The person who helped us suggested the cookie dough croissant and I quote "It will change your life". It was indeed fantastic! We will be going back! Thank you for the great service!

I recommend the almond croissants.Great coffee too. The almond croissants rock!Parking in Royal Oak ... sucks, but the almond croissants are worth the hassle. They are available with and without chocolate. The chocolate is just too much sweet for me, but you will love it.Did I mention that I really like the almond croissants?

I appreciate Give Thanks Bakery. They are a great place to visit for delicious treats and hand crafted breads, especially German breads. They serve wonderful coffee at a better price than you will find elsewhere in Royal Oak. Give Thanks has been a super sponsor of the Royal Oak Leprechauns and have brought their products to several games this season for all to enjoy. Definitely recommend you pay them a visit when visiting downtown Royal Oak.

Nice addition to Royal Oak. I'm glad to see the bakery space didn't go to waste. I was greeted at the door with smiles and welcomes, which made me feel very at ease walking into a new place. Their selection is enough. I don't mean that in a bad way I'm saying that it is not so overwhelming that you can't pick a few things. They have sweet they have savory and they have unique. I had the spinach and feta croissant tried their bee sting cake. Not too sweet just right. They have a small seating area to enjoy your purchase with a cup of coffee. I will be coming back to try a few more things.
