It is Coach's Corner now, but it is the old Goerge Murphy's. The view of the golf course is nice and the staff has always been good. They have decent pizza and some beers on tap such as Blue Moon and Alaskan Amber. We have had a few gatherings here and always get the pizza and large salads. Their pretzel bites with cheese are also good.

Nice little place for a casual sit down with friends. This is actually the old George Murphys and the new Coach's Corner which was previously located on Farmington Road and since closed. Their specialties are their burgers, fish and chips and chicken dishes but most come for the pizza which is very good. Service overall is pretty good. Several TVs on throughout the restaurant which will keep you entertained. Mid priced so its easy on thr wallet. Clean and relaxed. It's right on the golf course and adjacent to the pro shop.

I'm not even gonna go into how this is my hang out place and I'm here like 3 times a week and I have thousands of memories here I'm just here to give it 5 stars because it's still called George Murphy's on here when it's now called Coaches Corner. REAL ONES STILL CALL IT JORGE OK. DIS PLACE IS A CERTIFIED HOOD CLASSIC!

Definitely a nicer establishment than the corner of 7 Mile & Farmington. Plenty of space, and nice atmosphere. Great menu (although rather pricey for bar-food, but the hoity-toity of "North Livonia" don't seem to mind). Wait staff is friendly and VERY easy on the eyes. Lunch menu often includes breakfast; just don't order a baked potato at lunch, for some moronic reason they're not available! WTF!?

I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the bartenders and waitress screwing up drink orders. The food was great! Best waffle fries ever. Mushroom soup was thick and rich. Even the cheesecake was tasty. Four of us ordered Tequila Gold shots. Two of our shots (mine included) was butterscotch and not tequila. The waitress kept blowing it off when I asked her to fix it. I was busy with an event going on there and couldn't press the issue and my husband just paid the bill. If you go, I would sit at the bar and watch what is going on closely. I wouldn't recommend for a group. Not very good customer service and apparently can't handle a crowd when it gets busy.

My first meal at George Murphy's and it is more than just a golf coarse snack shack. The special for the day were tacos and they were very good. They needed a little more heat and it took Nicole a few minutes to find some hot sauce but when she did the tacos came alive . My wife had the chicken caprese with a bowl of vegetable soup and loved her meal.Friends with us had some burgers and liked them.Nicole did a perfect job serving us.

We had a golf outing here @ Fox Creek and G Murphy's was our dinner service (which is a completely separate entity from the golf course so just a word of caution if you're holding and event at both, you'll have to deal with two different people to get it done). It was for a non- profit charity and we had booked months in advance. They were easy to work with in this manner and had plenty of room to host our party of about 60 diners. We had a buffet, so there were no chances of screwing up service; had chicken and roast beef, salad, green beans, and a baked potato. Nothing too hard so again the chances of messing something up were minimal. Food was hot, had agreeable tastes; nothing to really complain about. The servers didn't really know about drinks or beers when asked about what they had on tap so they had to go back and check constantly plus the menu was not up to date so they'd come back and say they no longer had it. Other than that, it wasn't too bad and we got through the outing dinner without incident.I've been here prior to, just to eat, and thought it was pretty good considering its mostly a golf course clubhouse, so not sure how people can complain about golfers or not being good for kids. Its on a golf course; thats guaranteed to be the clientele and noise levels. Should have gone down the street to Red Robin or something if you were looking for an actual restaurant. In summary, this is probably one of the better golf- related places to eat but I wouldn't make this a destination for restaurant fare.

I am glad I didn't read the reviews before I went ahead and purchased the Groupon deal for 3 $25 gift cards, because I wouldn't have purchased them. We sat outside on a beautiful Friday night at 5:00. It was three adults and three kids. The guys ordered beer, and were happy with the large selection. I was content with my iced tea. The kids were happy they got pop with a kids meal! You can't beat a $4 kids meal that comes with a drink and ice cream at the end!I had the veggie burger with onion rings. That was an extra $2, but soooo worth it! The onion rings were freshly made and delish! I am still thinking about them! My DH had the fish and chips with a salad and my BIL had a tuna melt. Both really liked their meals. Our server, whose name I never got, was awesome! She was young and very good with our kids. We got very lucky!I debated whether to give 3 or 4 stars. The food was good, but not exciting. If a restaurant is going to get 4 or 5 stars from me then it needs to get me really excited. I didn't leave excited, but full and content. That's not bad, but I'm not dying to go back there. I will return...at least 2 more times, though ;-)

I have been here multiple times and have never gotten good service. Either the waitress has been super overwhelmed (not on a busy night) or flat out rude. I have gotten the pizza and sandwiches along with salads; and it hasn't been good. The only thing I can say positive is the salad (seriously good!) which is a bummer because I wish everything else was as good! It's not horribly priced; but I would probably go somewhere else before I came here.

Went there after a soccer game, outdoor patio is great, suitable for a big group of people. Pizza is really good, local craft beer on tap. Perfect for a diet cheat night! Staff is friendly.
