Gabriel's Cheese Steak Hoagies

My first visit. First impressions matter ... and ...The dining room was empty at 2:45 and there was nothing happening, yet two tables needed bussing. And; the restroom, while not dirty, could have benefited from two minutes of attention.The cheesesteak w/provolone, mushrooms and peppers is of the fine chopped variety ... and is excellent. I prefer my cheesesteaks shaved, not fine chopped, but this is a very minor quibble. It arrived promptly and hot, thank you very much. It is served on a fresh, very soft roll.Will I return? Yes. A much better value than Lefty's.

Saw a food review and decided to try. The steak with double Provolone cheese was fantastic.I saw that the mushrooms were from a can so I just orderwith the cheese. No sauce no frills but the best steak sub I have ever eaten in Michigan.I definately recommend the steak with double Provolone cheese. You will not see the cheese as it melts in with the meat.

This place has great cheesesteaks. They are just as good as the original location. The service is good as well. I like the spicy pepper relish on mine. I don't think they do that in Philly, but it's common in Michigan. I guess it's a Michy cheesesteak. Lol.

Normally my coworkers will go pick up the order but darn it i was off today and i had some craving for cheesesteak. This was my first time driving here which wasn't bad; i submitted my order in the parking lot and waited. Took about 20 to 25mins to be fully completed; i walked in a little later just in case it was done. Everything seems to run smoothly - it was only lady workers at this time and they wasn't missing a beat in their steps. Only thing I noticed was an increase in prices compared to order instore; don't get me wrong but i feel it should be stated somewhere. Once again - it would've been cheaper for me to walk in and then walk back out then wait in my vehicle.Other than that - food stays on point.Happy Eating!!!

Read somewhere Gabriel's is the best cheesesteak in Se Michigan so we had to go. It was a solid cheesesteak sandwich. Price was more than fair. The shortcoming for me was the bun. It was soft and like a hot dog bun. But I'm sure many like the bun. For me I love the crusty substantial roll and the cheesesteak at Penn Station subs. That's THE BEST cheesesteak in Michigan!

This location is good. The best location is the one in Ypsilanti. Always good food here.

The Ypsilanti location is the best hands down! They price isn't bad and they cook pretty quickly to get you in and out. Definitely a 10/10!!!

Rude,rude, rude .... People working in here haha joke .... Not everyone should have a job .... This 2 female workers working today on November 30 are absolutely not educated...I ordered a sandwich and ask to have Swiss cheese on it instead American... So I give them extra $1 for the cheese when i arrive since there was no option on the app to do so... one of them urn around and just said: We don't have Swiss cheese..so I asked for provolone and the other one pushed my money back at me and said "Nope" sandwich it's already made .... I don't understand... if you have specialty sandwich, maybe you should wait until customer comes in and talk to them .... They are just rude for no reason at all ... I'll be not going back here anymore... I feel bad for the owner or who ever this 2 are working for ... they are just a problem and there was no reason to handle me that way ....

Terrible. Got food poisoning. But they do offer happy endings!, out back, after closing... Before going home to husband. Dudes must love the smell of cheese steak

I was craving a grilled chicken salad with good ranch dressing, and this one place was close.I called and placed the order and instead of a piece of grilled chicken atop my salad, there were small bits of canned chicken with packets of Kraft dressing. I was sooo disappointed! I will definitely not be returning!
