Ford's Garage Novi

My husband really liked it here, but I didn't care for it very much. I had the Swiss mushroom burger, but subbed the beef patty out for a veggie patty. The sautéed mushrooms on the burger were pretty bland and flavorless. The burger was dry, the cheese was hard and dry. The bun was hard and also dry. I was not a fan at all, but the fries were on point though. I'll give them that! Outside of that, the ambiance was great and our server was so nice and attentive. I would probably go back and try ordering something else.

Ambiance is goodService was slightly slow Had to reorder meat which was rare when asked for medium well - might have to request two notches above what you want instead of the usual one and even then it may be less than your intended Nice family friends spot

Food - my salad was good! I had a Chicken Cobb Salad with a strawberry and garlic salad dressing. There was a generous amount of sliced chicken strips, and they were cooked at the right temperature so not dry at all The waitress was so attentive and very helpful with suggestions. My friend said the burger was just okay, not great, but fine. We did like that they brand the name Ford on the top of the bun- that's unique. The other orders were steak, fries and mac and cheese (skip the mac and cheese) it was childish. The best thing was the service, and the ambiance. I will definitely come again, as it's a fun place. I think it would be a great place to watch a game and hangout with friends from in or out of town. They also sell T-Shirts with the Ford logo. Next time I'll try some of the appetizers.

12 of us for a family lunch. Made a reservation so no waiting around. Seated 10 minutes early. BONUS! This was a couple Sundays ago when the weather was horrible and the roads were very slick. Glad everyone made it with most driving in from the Lansing area. Leanne was our server and she was very pleasant. She seemed to be very busy so she did not have time to be overly attentive. She took drink and app orders as the relatives arrived and everyone got what they asked for. We waited till everyone was there before ordering entrees and that went very smoothly. 4 of us started with cheese curds and deep fried pickles. Both were outstanding. Serving of cheese curds was big enough for 3 people. American standard burger and chicken tenders for 2 of us. My burger was huge and very tasty. Brioche bun, pickle planks, American cheese, and red onions. I would change the cheese next time But still a good burger. Other entrees were the Cali roadster sandwich, French onion soup, a Seasonal Griffin Estate burger, and Monte Christo sammie. No complaints from anyone. Nice to have a big group and get great service with no issues. Thank you very much! This is definitely a go to place in my book.

As a vegan I wasn't sure if I'll be able to get there but after some research I figured what I can get. Remove the sauce from "clean and green" and substitute brioche bun with pretzel bun. I added couple of things to my burger and it was very good. Didn't want anything fried so got broccoli as a side. If you're vegan, make sure to ask no butter.The interior of the restaurant is amazing, just for that is well worth going there. So much automotive industry related items make this place. I was impressed with the decor. Our server was very attentive and nice. There were 12 of us having lunch and we all enjoyed our food. I'll definetly be back.

We are so grateful to have this restaurant decided to come to Novi. I love their drink and burgers. Wife loves their salad. Mom and kids also enjoy their food. Wish they had better kids menu.Update: we cannot stop returning even tho for quick lunch pick up when working from home.

I came here to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday, although I think my son and husband loved the place even more than she did since they are the car enthusiasts. The entire place is decked out in automotive details with pictures and bits of history sprinkled throughout. It is an open restaurant, so it is a bit on the noisy side for ambiance. We tried the buffalo chicken dip, which had large chunks of chicken in it. The chicken had a good flavor, I'm just not the biggest fan of that kind of dip. I ordered the High-Octane burger, which is supposed to be spicy, but I didn't think it was at all because I have a high tolerance for spice. They gave a complimentary sundae for the birthday girl, which was huge! Our waitress was nice and let my son go behind the bar and honk the car horn and push the button for the tailpipe fog. It was a fun place with good burgers and they have an extensive list of craft beers on tap (36!).

From host to waitress (Missy was AWESOME) to food runner, even the manager that came by to check everything just seemed to run smoothly and efficiently. Food was very good. And again Missy's friendly attitude and how she never left us wanting for anything we needed made her a waitress I would come back and see. Get the estate burger. It's awesome. My grand daughter LOVES their chicken tenders.

Great service, great food :-) Noah was a fabulous waiter. He took the time to offer suggestions, reminded us that it's happy hour, and came back and checked just enough. Really appreciated him and our experience!

Absolutely great over all! Salmon was delicious and had great flavor all around. Vast drink menu and Alexis the server was the best! Ambiance was spectacular always something on the walls to catch your eye....pictures and antiques everywhere and the bathroom sinks were really cool too!
