Located in the strip mall off Grand River. Small location. Nothing special that stands out. Service was cool, but the inside is HOT! I'm trying something new, smelt dinner. Hopefully it's up to par. Call ahead otherwise it's a 20 min.wait.

So my neighbor purchased frozen crab legs from this establishment last night... Upon reaching home to cook crab legs realized they were ALREADY COOKED‼‼‼ He thinks they were returned and frozen when he called to let them know they told him to call the police.. HE WANTS YALL TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO BE CAREFUL PURCHASING FROM ANY SEAFOOD FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT....

I must say, judging by the previous review, Fish Express has been in this location at least a year. As much as I frequent the CVS across the street from it, I never noticed it until recently. I decided to try it after receiving a menu on my front porch, and that day, I had a taste for fried catfish.So, I ordered the Catfish and Chicken Tenders dinner. The first thing about the dinner I noticed was the portion size. For the price ($8.59), I expected to receive far less food than I did. It came with two rather sizable catfish fillets, two crispy, deep-fried chicken tenders, a nice helping of seasoned fries, and a small side of coleslaw. I could barely finish the meal! Everything was prepared perfectly and tasted great. My mother had the ribs, and she felt there was room for improvement, however.Now, as far as the establishment goes, it is rather small and easy to miss if you are not looking for it. However, it is conveniently located in a shopping plaza. Parking in front of this restaurant can be a bit challenging due to the fact that it is almost next door to a grocery store. Also, they did not quite have my order ready in the time it was promised, so a little patience would also help. They also have a pizza menu, and I would like to try their pizza one day. Other than that, I must say I had a decent experience.

I am in Detroit for a few weeks and my sister insisted that we eat here I must say that I was skeptical. This place is small and located in a strip mall so I was not really excited to try the food. But as the old saying goes you should never judge a book by its cover. The catfish was really good. The fries were good too.

I had not been to this restaurant in a long time. I ordered a cod dinner and a 20 piece shrimp. When I got home I opened the containers and saw the shrimp in one and a lot of fries in the other. I called told the man that I did not get my cod dinner. He said the cod was under the fries. The tasteless cod. Most dinners I have had had at lease a small side of coleslaw. This was one of the most disappointing meals I have ever had.

I will never ever cross this theshold again. They pulled the bait and switch. Advertised a 30 whole wing deal for $18.99 But once you order and get ready to.pay they say oh that is Monday Tuesday price the price is $22.31 i said but that is the price in the window advertised nothing says Monday Tuesday special. I was told it was up to manager discretion and he wasn't going to honor the advertised price today. I asked for a manager and was told he was the son and nobody else complains about the price. Totally unprofessional. Not trying to get anything free just want you to honor the price you advertise in you store window.

I posted one star not because of the food, but because the crew who works night shift had a really nasty attitude. The two younger women working at the cashier were carrying on a conversation about (me)while I was right there. Not only were they rude they were using profanity in front of me the paying customer, and another woman in her two children. Me a frequent customer all because I asked for my food I was shorted and for new condiments(that were opensauce all over it). A simple I apology or nothing at all was fine. Say whatever you want but do it AFTER the customer leave. I asked to speak to a supervisor/receipt. I was told no one speaks English and there's no number to follow up. I'm good on the this establishment I'LL NEVER SPEND MY MONEY where I don't feel valued as customer. I don't appreciate their unprofessionalism.
