Finjan Cafe

Service was great and friendly. Customer service was top tier. Ambience is calm, cozy, and pleasant. Dessert was spectacular and unique! The strawberry Milk cake was nothing short of perfection. 1/3/2025

Finjan is one of my favorite coffee/tea shops in the area. I have been here over 10 times and the coffee and tea is always consistent and delish. Although there are coffee shops that are closer to where I live, I always opt into driving a bit farther because I feel like Finjan puts more spice into their coffee and tea and I love the unique and delicious flavors you get! You can't go wrong with ordering an Adeni Tea, Finjan Latte, Pistachio Latte, or the homemade Turkish Milk Cake. Check out my Instagram for more @hangry_detroiter

A nice coffee shop off of busy Ford. It is nice to find a tranquil spot in this busy commercial area. I was hoping to to get further instruction on Yemeni offerings, but the server was not forthcoming. Mostly a local clientele, which is a nice contrast to bustling Dearborn.I was hoping for a kettle of tea, but since I was left to my devices I ordered the Yemeni tea. It tasted like chai. At first I thought it was too sweet but I got used to it. I could taste cardamom and clove. I couldn't taste mint as the menu noted. I had it with the Pistachio cake. Tasty but not my general preference. It is a denser cake with a traditional honey syrup at the base found in many desserts from this part of the world. The topping was in between a frosting and whip cream. It had a minute amount of coconut shavings (not my fave). They have a few other cakes and the cheese cake, which I am guessing is like a kanafeh.It was fairly quiet during my visit, and would like to return as a reading spot to try some other items.

Something about finjan coffee is just so much better than most other coffees. This cafe did not disappoint.I had ordered the finjan latte and Nutella croissant. The croissant was rather large and was not overfilled with Nutella like other places. Nice balance of bread to hazelnut spread. The finjan latte was what truly made my time there worthwhile. It was prepared perfectly (and this is coming from a non coffee person). Inside of the cafe was adorable as well with nice seating, WiFi, and available outlets. Table service was speedy. Parking was easy right outside the cafe. I will definitely come back here when I'm in the area again.

I decided to try a cheesecake frape. It was delicious. I t tasted like you were drinking a cool creamy cheesecake. So tasty. The drink was good and the seating areas were interesting. Good for meeting up with friends. Except lacking music to complete the ambience. It would've been a 5 star if not for that. Also maybe a few more bakery options in their display case. They did have 3 cheesecakes to choose from and three cake options with two other dessert options. Also no napkins available to grab. Otherwise the inside again is cozy and lighting is pretty cool.

Came here in a whim to try their pistachio latte and their pastries. Pistachio latte 12oz, 3/5Pistachio cake slice, 4/5mini bites, 4/5Service 5/5, was very welcoming and helpful Lots of seating to hang out or to pop-up your laptop. but I didn't stay long enough to just chill.

Had some time to kill between airport drop offs. We stopped in after our daughter did a quick internet search. Glad we did. Had a chai latte and it tasted wonderful.

Excellent cup of coffee! Yemeni coffee is quite special and has a natural chocolatey taste. This shop has a nice interior and is well maintained. That said, over ten bucks for essentially two roughly 12 ounce cups of coffee did not feel like a value proposition. The experience was rather plain, the cups were plain white and non-branded. Rather buy a 30 dollar bag of coffee, brew my own, and get more mileage out of single source speciality coffee.

Very cute little cafe. They have a nice menu of Yemeni coffee and chai as well as a few dessert items. I had the adeni chai and it was pretty good. Does have seating but might be harder for groups of more than 4 to get together as the space is a bit small. Still a great place to meet with friends and catch up.

I like this place, the ambience cozy the dessert and coffee excellent! The service was friendly. There is a negative tho, it'sa bit pricey.
