I asked for some assistance with self checkout. The woman's only response was ""No". She was very crude. Why is she there? ???The prices are not consistently marked nor are they competitive. I hadn't been there for 3-4 years. I remembered why.

Prices are never marked and are way overpriced when you finally get to the register. Staff are very rude. Why go here when you can get better quality food and service down the road at western?

They leave pallets out for people to trip and fall. Their staff WIILL watch you fall too. They will deny ANY AND ALL accountability. This says everything about the ambiance and the food. STEER CLEAR. An ORGANIZED boycott MAY follow, this is what they think of their customers.

This is the closest and cheapest grocery store by my friend's house in FDale. He has dragged me here a couple of times to pick up some party liquor and sodas mostly. I will say we don't generally come here their main grocery items, not for produce or meat either. We usually go to the the W store more east on 9 mile instead. This place is like a smaller value market to me. It has the basics of what you might need, nothing as far as special goes. Perhaps I have been a bit spoiled with several small specialty stores by me.

I just like this market... I've been going there for over 30 plus years. Just relationship and food quality is what matters most.

It's a good neighborhood market. When everyone else is crowded, Ferndale Foods is the place to go.

Terrible customer service. I bought cut fruit and after 3days in the fridge, when I went to eat it, it was sour. I took it back to the store a couple of days later and was treated so rudely and they refused to give me my money or a store credit. The cup of fruit was only $5I will not shop there again!

It's shocking how rude the staff is. Every single time. No hello, no thank you, no eye contact. It's almost bizarre how consistent they are in their rudeness.

Nicest grocery store around if you live around downtown Ferndale. Safe area, good stock of groceries, and nice grocery store workers. Love it!

Visited the store on Nov 6th and the deli counter area was filthy. Personal food items left out on counter, walls with dried food and dried liquids on them, and in serious need of a wipedown.I snapped pics with intention of filing a complaint with Oakland County Health Dept. I am not sure if that will accomplish anything but the deli area should NOT be selling food with the poor conditions of the counters and walls.
