Father & Son Pizzeria

I'm from Chicago, just moved to Michigan. One thing I miss the most from Chicago is the pizza. But this location 50770 Gratiot Ave. Is legit !!! Pizza taste just like the one back home. Highly recommend this location. Also the Buffalo wings ! OMG !!!! They are delicious. All I have to say is, Father & Son pizzeria where have you been all my life !!!!

I've had deep dish and traditional round pizza, and each time the food has been consistently hot and fresh. No complaints and will reorder again!

The broasted chicken and potatoes was very good. I asked for extra cook on the potatoes and I really liked the outside, almost like a really light breading, but I didn't see anything on them. The inside was fluffy. The chicken came with a breast and a wing, both were juicy with a light, crispy breading. Nothing particularly special about the cheese bread, but I'm pretty picky about cheese bread... The pizza was very good. We asked for a light cook, and it was perfectly done. The ratio of sauce to cheese to toppings couldn't be better. Not too much or too little of anything. I generally like a sweeter sauce, this isn't sweet but is pretty balanced. Cheese was real cheese with perfect amount of "stretch." I didn't care for the ham, had a bit of smokiness and that's just not my preference. My husband liked it just fine. Overall, would definitely recommend, though prices seem a bit high, but I'd rather pay a little more for quality ingredients and toppings in every bite.

Very good pizza and can get square or round and their sauce is fantastic. I ordered delivery online and it said about 40 minutes but it came in 30 which I was very happy about. I would definitely order again and try other items on menu as well as I seen several other different items.

Great local pizza place and you can pick up a slice or two to go. Easy going made to order good selection

Not great customer service when you place an order and upon arrival to pick it up you are advised that their oven(s) aren't working. We have been a frequent customer for years and no offer of anything for our time other than sorry we tried to call you. I believe we are done ordering from here.

I have enjoyed Father & Son pizza since I was a kid and it's still my favorite 30+ years later. My favorites are the Dave's Fave round pizza, the garlic parmesan breadsticks with the garlic butter, and the chocolate chip cannolis. The delivery and in store staff has always offered outstanding and friendly service. The store offers an awesome opportunity to see the work that goes into their amazing food.

Been going to Father and Son for a few years now. Not a huge fan of their Pizza, its ok, but what is great, is their Broasted Chicken!!! It knocks Chicken Hut out of the park!! the potato wedges are really good as well. Cheese Sticks are awesome as well. Pizza just didn't do it for us, but everything else has been great!!

Great service. Great pizza and my go to for broasted chicken. By far, the best Chicago pizzas in the area.They have to be doing something right. They have been in business for over 40 years now. Definitely recommend this place.

Overpriced! They're however as close to actual Chicago deep dish as you can get in Michigan....personally I'll just wait for the real thing which is cheaper and still hasn't been matched...I'll stick with Hamelin Pub across the street or Marcos down the street for take out. Lower your prices!!
