Far East Chinese & Thai Food is FAR OUT and double good!My office ordered lunch here for me and my boss' birthday today, and not only was the restaurant easy to communicate with regarding the large order, but the food was super dope as well. I ordered the Pad See Yu, and it was stupid good. The sauce had a hint of sweetness to it, and a healthy portion of beef, shrimp, chicken and pork. I didn't feel "cheated out" on anything like many other restaurants leave you feeling on combo dishes like this (see the photo). The dumplings come in 6, and we ordered both the steamed and pan fried. I failed to procure a photo of them, but these are the old school pot stickers - thicker dough and well made. Depending upon your mood, I could suggest either the steamed or the fried, but steamed is probably my fav. The egg rolls were crunchy and were not overly oiled, which means this restaurant cares enough to change their fry oil, ensuring that the guest has a better meal, rather than trying to stretch every last drop of an oil batch. I don't remember what everyone else got, but there were no complaints from the varied dishes I DO remember - Beef & Broccoli, Shrimp Egg Foo Young, Kung Pau and more. I'll most certainly be coming to this establishment again in the near future, and couldn't recommend to you more ordering here yourself.

Totally disappointing meal. The fried rice was disgusting. The egg rolls tasted very strange. The shrimp egg foo yung was horrible. Over all the whole meal was terrible!

Far East fires up the best almond chicken in town. Hands down, no competition. The food is consistent, beautifully prepared, and absolutely delicious. I look forward to the warm greetings from the friendly staff. Five stars!

I ordered take out tonight from here. I got egg drop soup, and #8 Almond Boneless Chicken.My food was ready for pick up when they said it would. When I picked up my food, the lady was super nice.The Egg drop soup was delicious as well as The Almond boneless chicken.

If your looking for a spectacular meal for a very good price, well look no further! Back when the pandemic started we decided to give this place a try. We were absolutely amazed at how good and fresh the food is!! Their white gravy is basically a garlic sauce (a.k.a gravy). It is literally one the best gravies I have ever tasted! It's soooo good I could literally drink it !! We have ordered here at least 70 times since we first started going here. It is exceptionally clean and the staff is all very nice. We have gave this place so much business that all we have to say on the phone is our name and they know our order by heart . They are always sanitizing their hands, the tables and the employees wear masks like anyone should be handling food! I believe she is the owner, jean, is by far the sweetest. She is always so kind, friendly and smiling !!! Give this place a try if you are obsessed with Chinese food like us! As a matter of fact we got dinner here tonight, that's what made me realize I never reviewed them! If I could give then more than 5 stars I would!!!

I have this thing where I would suddenly crave take-out--either Chinese or sushi. Because the last time it was sushi (and we all know how expensive sushi can be sometimes), I decided to go for Chinese. My favorite Chinese restaurant closed last year and my second go-to takeout place was also nowhere to be found. So I decided to give this place a try and order through Uber Eats. I had sweet and sour pork, which I thought should be a pretty standard dish. However, when I first opened the box, I was so confused with how the food looked. The pork was coated in a lump of batter, deep-fried, and came up as these weird-looking golden balls. It's not crispy at all by the way, and the sweet and sour sauce is served on the side. It certainly tastes better than it looks. The pork is dry, but dipping it in the sauce does help. I'm actually amused the whole time I was eating because I'm not too sure what to make of this dish. Taste-wise it's not that bad, but the whole thing just does not come up as what I would expect. The spring roll is pretty tasty flavor-wise, but unfortunately soggy. The fried rice is a bit too salty and the chicken pieces in the fried rice are undeniably dry. I feel very conflicted giving the review because, again, the taste is definitely not the worst, but the whole dish taken together is just not right... I'm not sure whether I should give it a second chance but since I don't have that many options when it comes to Chinese takeout in the area I might give it another go. However, maybe next time I'll go for Sesame Chicken, Orange Chicken, or General Tso's Chicken instead and see if I like it better.

I'm newer to Clawson I ordered Almond Boneless Chicken approximately 4 times. It was the Best I'd had in a long time! Until December 2,2024! My order was made online with delivery. This evening my food was awful! The Meal was cold and I've Never experienced Egg rolls with no vegetables at all just chicken mush. I ate the outside only. Called the restaurant the owner got on the phone and The Owner swore & said he's been making these 40 years! He was screaming, belligerent & wouldn't let me get a word edgewise! Guess I'm looking for a better Chinese & Tai Restaurant any suggestions? I can provide a photo of what it looked like as well!

I ordered online for delivery. finally had to have a snack as it took so long. I did call the restaurant as it had been over an hour. I was told the delivery person had been to my home and had knocked, rang. the doorbell and attempted to call me and had not received a response. I explained none of those events had occurred. I was sitting in my living room, watching TV and waiting for my food. I have a dog who goes crazy barking if you knock on the door. The employee/owner ( did not identify themselves) said he had a picture of my front door and that was verified. I then opened the door and my food had been left on the porch. It was now cold. I asked why anyone would do that and he hung up on me!!!! I have been ordering food from here since it opened. Never again.
